yes i was offered that as my contract is over, but too be honest 3 network is ****, i cant get 4g signal where i live , anywhere else is fine.....plus i dont really want to be tied down to a 12 month contract....i have my 3 pac code which i have to use by 10-10-2017, otherwise my contract will continue with 3 on unlim call, unlum texts and 4 gb data..

Anyone with experience of doing this whilst already on plusnet? GF already has the 1GB £6 with them, and thought the 2.5GB for £7 would be a small but worthwhile upgrade

Just found out that I have to give 30 days notice with 3. If I order this deal above, can I not activate the SIM until 30 days time, and will I still get the Amazon voucher, or do you have to activate the SIM as soon as you get it? Thank you.
Anon to Sophiasky
27 Sep 17#26
No, it will likely be activated when they post it.

It's 30 days to cancel, surely you're porting the number out ? in which case you want a PAC code. Once the PAC code is used and your number is with Plusnet your account with 3 terminates, so you're not billed for 30 days, only up to the point the number ceases to be with 3.
TishoG to PKRichie
28 Sep 17#50
You are not billed the full amount for the remaining days to 30. You are charged reduced fee for the remaining days. So delay the number port towards the last week of the notice and use both SIM cards. That's what I did.

Great deal, might have to go for this. I don't need a lot of minutes or texts- if I could save a couple quid by only having 200 texts and 50 minutes then I'd do it! Data is pretty much all I need.
£9 a month is a bargain

You can give 30 days notice at any time to leave / port your number / terminate the contract.

It means your terms and conditions (aka legal contractual agreement) between them and yourself, is ONLY on a 30 day's to 30 day's basis ... (and that's it?!).
So when you want 'out' on these/such 30 day SIM Card's, all you need to give that same same said Network, is an IMMEDIATE 30 day's notice!, and that's it?.
As I've previously described earlier ... (as per my previous above also).

Hahahahaha, I hear!.
Note to self, one Mobile Phone Network Provider Salesman I came across ONLY a handful of year's back or so, he categorically swore blind, that ONLY 500MB PER MONTH on HIS NETWORK was wayyyyy more than anyone ever needed?!, because, after all, who uses more than that right? (is this guy for real!, I thought at the time?). :-(
Because (apart from any other form of his waddling), he himself NEVER used more than that!, and ... (hmmmmmmm).
At the time I went to for information/research purposes only! (as I blatantly didn't need it).
At that particular moment in time, I was already on a 750MB Per Month Contract, and I STRUGGLED with that amount as it was?! (I was constantly doing my main downloading of App's and what have you's in the morning before work, when I got home after work, and/or in the weekend when I was rather home ...
It was a KILLER!!, I don't get it?
Some people, huh?, hehehehehehehe. :-D
I was clearing easily 2-3GB, even back then?, lol.
So I appreciate your above current sentiments, but 15-25GB+ Per Month?, well ... lol.

I have a SIM only plan for 12 months with 3. Can somebody tell me, do you have to give 30 days notice like you do with a 2 year monthly contract?
amour3k to Sophiasky
27 Sep 17#21
You always have to give 30 day's notice with all of them ... (30 day SIM only included!)
The different between the 12 month SIM Deal's, and the 30 day SIM Deal's is this, from day 1 of your 30 day SIM Deal, you can call them up IMMEDIATELY, and say you want to give 30 day's notice of Cancellation of your SIM ...
(Unlike that of a 12 month SIM Deal), you don't need to wait to month 11 first basically?.
There you have it ...

First stage of the checkout - the 'Shopping Bakset' stage there is a field towards the bottom called Voucher/Gift Discount. Enter the code there and hit Apply.

Tried chitter chatter a while ago found out they are actually brokers. last time I have to cancel my contract, which was straight forward with the t-moible. however chitter chatter promised so many times to give my money back, and never did. different people will refer you to different individuals and you will be keep on asking for ever. I finally gave up. Better to spend a little bit more and buy direct from the network, rather wasting time and money. :imp:

True that the MSE deal is a slightly better allowance, unlimited instead of 2k minutes but that's really marginal for most users. On the downside it ties you in to a 12 month contract, flexibility to jump to a better deal is more valuable IMO. Although I notice that 3 also offer a reset of your data allowance for only £5 which does seem pretty useful if you might be prone to blowing the limit in a single month e.g. when tethering.
