It was some anniversary event a few weeks ago. I'd expect them to do some offers for Black Friday at the end of November - not sure about any other times.

These can handle more current, so could be more suited to switching motorised appliances like dishwashers and tumble dryers which are high current with an inductive load.
One of these days I'm going to get around to trying to convert a couple of my old electronic timers to wifi using the sub £2 esp chips.
