After using both a Dyson ball and a shark vacuum, I have to say that the shark is by far the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used. The shark picks up dirt that even the Dyson can't. I recently had some work done in my house and the was a lot of sawdust and dust on my carpet. I used the Dyson first to see if it could pick everything up and from the naked eye, it looked like it had but I tried the shark next and I discovered that there was a lot of unseen dirt that even the Dyson didn't pick up. I would choose the shark over the Dyson 10 times out of 10. Highly recommended.

to have a true test you would need to perform it again, but this time using the Shark first. Bit like saying you had a really dirty pair of jeans and washed them with Bold first and they were mostly clean, then you used Daz and that got them pretty much completely clean therefore Daz is better. You just cant make that conclusion.

Personally I think this is better than Dyson. See
video previously posted by bubblesmoney - I didnt realised that this is a hypoallergenic vacuum until skipping through the video. It changed my mind about Dyson and any other hoovers a 100%, especially this feel important for me because I have young children.

Having used both Dyson and Shark, I was surprised to see Shark was far superior in vacuum cleaning and ease of use.

Dnt have this model but just the shark rocket..it's way better than any other vaccuums..it pick up what can't be seen..deep cleansing every time

Look at the YouTube video of showing how a Dyson is a hypoallergenic vacuum, then watch the shark performance, you can see which one is the better performance by far I would never have another vacuum or a Dyson, it's Shark for me but that's my choice

I have the regular power lift away (without the duo clean) and after previously owning Dyson's I can say the Shark is the best one I have ever had and I will never again buy another Dyson.

Shark over Dyson! I've used a lot of vaccum cleaners and currently have the Shark Powered Lift-Away NV680UK. Picks up so much more than other cleaners and I can use the lift away feature to take the small unit out for cleaning my car too!

I went to shark after having had a dyson for years and would never go back, Shark is so much better. Their support team is great too!

If you're looking for a Shark it is worth keeping an eye on their site as they sometimes throw in a free steam mop too. When I bought mine I got the Lift Away steam mop thrown in!

Purchased and arrived 24 hours later. Can confirm it picks up SIGNIFICANTLY MORE than the Dyson DC25 it replaces. Seems well put together and generally a better build than the Dyson. 1 criticism is how small the dust/dirt collection container is. Needs constantly emptying.
