New Gift Card offer at Tesco online and instore giving 15% off various gift cards. Nice to see a few different ones for a change, rare to get any discount on Nandos and Spotify gift cards. Few things to note

Need to ensure you select the correct denominations to get a discount
Buy instore to avoid delivery charges, gift cards are available at Tesco Extra. There may not be any point of sale material and staff may not know about the promotion but will scan through at below prices

Now I went for this in a larger tesco store today and there was no offer insight around the gift cards so I asked a manager and he scanned the nandos card at the till and it came up only £17 for the £20 card so it was a suppose to them as they wasn’t aware of the offer !

No.

You might be able to downgrade to free, apply the gift card balance and then sign up to a student account again but even then you might end up charged the full rate from the gift card balance. As I understand it, gift cards can't be used for discounted services.

iTunes deals have been thin on the ground - Nectar have just launched egiftcard redemption fi you have any Nectar points which includes iTunes, although standard redemption rate

‌ :disappointed: & morrisons ended the fuel voucher for giftcards. Used to rinse the Visa prepay cards. Great way to manufacture spend & hit credit card bonuses for miles/hotels.

No Clubcard points at all. Only when for the person redeeming I was told. Suppose this applies if you buy their own cards but not anyone elses. Scanned mine anyway and got. £7 off £50 in-store spend voucher. Better that 34 points tbh.

Just checked instore - no point of sale material but got customer service to scan £25 Odeon gift card and came up as £21.25.

I can confirm this worked. No POS in-store and doesn't change the value of the transaction until ready to pay but definitely worked.

Plus got a cheeky wee £7 off £50 spend instore too so even more savings!!

Asda offer ended yesterday , we stocked up on the pizza hut cards at 20 % off and they had already taken the promotion boards down :wink:
