Note, all A+++ washing machines are not the same. For example, this is B rated for spin, which is poor and increases drying costs.
Some machines just scrape within A+++, others exceed it by far. Claimed running costs are a good comparison but many washers save energy by having a short/slow spin cycle. It saves electricity but your clothes come out wetter and the tumble dryer then burns more £5 notes.

There is currently a deal on HOTUKDEALS for SAMSUNG WW90J5456FW/EU 9 kg 1400 Spin Washing Machine for £389 at Currys using code LKA10R code for £10 off. That one has spin rating of A but otherwise seems very similar to this machine.
HOWEVER, there is currently 10% Cashback on all Samsung washing machines at Currys from Quidco for the next 2 days. If it tracks correctly, that will be cheaper and better, no?

It will be declined if you combine cashback with a code. I did this with a Samsung washing machine and that code a month or so ago. I would rather buy from Curry's though as I have read bad things about co-op delivery. But also you may want to check how loud that machine is if that's a factor for you, off the top of my head I think it was louder than the one I bought for the same money.

The Currys deal is decent - that model scored 76% on Which and is rated a best buy although if the cashback is rejected then slightly higher price point than this one.

Clothes are definitely wetter with this 1400 even with a third of a load.
So I just run an extra (14 minute) spin cycle and all's good. Shame there's no way to add an extra spin to a wash cycle like the rinses.
Overall though I'm happy with this "upgrade".
