The front and rear lenses each capture 180 degrees horizontally and vertically, creating a seamless and complete 360-degrees field of view
Pair up your Galaxy smartphone via Bluetooth, then use Wi-Fi Direct to transform its large screen into a very handy remote viewfinder and to transfer files in one simple move
Had one to try at work for a while and it's dreadful! My biggest negative with it is because it is soo bulbous the lenses are so far apart that the 'blind spot' at each edge/side has a terrible stitching job!
The other disappointment is the picture quality, it's pretty damn rubbish!

Rubbish. Most issues surround people trying to use iOS phones with this Samsung product and others who are disappointed with their upload attempts on FB. It's a great camera if used correctly.

I've used a cheap one off amazon that was only 2mp, worked OK just poor resolution. Be interested in this, but do you need to own a samsung? I have a sony, I heard that some of these cameras were phone specific.

Excellent product in my view, having paid the full price for it a year ago. Great for photographing rooms in a house when selling it and just great in general. The model pictured is the old model which gets better reviews than the new one released a couple of months back. Well worth a punt at that price.

$69 On Amazon US so reckon it may have further to fall. Especially considering there's a new 360 camera coming from Samsung soon.

It works without a phone without any issues - I have an S7 but found it more trouble to pair and watch via the S7 that I just used the camera on its own. The new model has been around for a while but is not significantly better than this one although it is a little easier to hold

Annoying this only works with Samsung phones. Any chance I could get the app working on my old Nexus 5?

I think the modded version works on the Nexus 5 but have a look on XDA Developers to be sure..

There is an unofficial modded version of the app on XDA Developers (Search for Gear 360 Mod) which enables it to work on other phones. Works fine on my Nexus 5X with the modded app. Its worth going to have a read of the thread see if anyone has said it works with your model as some do some don't..
The quality and stitching is very good, and this is a bargain price. I've had it for a year and its excellent.
You can also use it in StreetView mode tyo upload directly to google maps and that works on all phones without needing the samsung app installing as far as I know.. (you connect and use it directly through the Google Streetview app)
