I have several Ryobi tools and Li-ion batteries, only a few years old. Batteries now won't hold much charge. I expect this from old Ni-Cd but not Li-ion. My generic brand tools (actually Guild - ex Homebase and Argos) with Li-ion still going strong.

This is a small capacity battery at an inflated price and I really wouldn't recommend.

I just need the charger...... Anyone willing to split on this for the battery?

good price but the 1.5 battery isn't very good. 5ah I use in most of my tools gives longer runtime and increase in power. I would go for the bigger battery if your not in need of the charger as 1.5ah doesnt last long.

Morning vassy1, thanks for sharing the offer! We've had a few members reporting that the item hasn't been £79.99 since Oct 2014 & that it has been various different prices during the intervening time, from around £70 down to £59, so I have amended the "was £79.99" to rrp £79.99 :grin:
