Never filled it more than half full, the leaking started after a few months of light usage. My advice is to keep your receipt just in case.

I got one of these kettles a few months ago £25 and it works great (you have to pull the lid right back to fill it) as lid is a bit stiff but everything else is sound a bit noisey but very quick to boil great kettle aint had a single prob "yet" :grin:

Or call Russell Hobbs. I bought a microwave and the accessories were broken inside the sealed box . They sent the replacement accessories in one week time.

Could just be overfilled. Ours is fine when I fill it but when my wife fills it right up, over the level mark, there is water everywhere.
