I'm not sure whether or not to go for this or wait for the Gold edition. I'm not sure what the DLC is like or even if it's worth it

I'm in the same position lol. But I've waited this long I might as well wait a bit longer. Usually when they release a game with goty/gold/legendary (whatever they want to call it lol) they're not much more expensive anyway or they drop quickly in price.
WerewolfByNight to widdac
7 Sep 17#39
True Enough! Yeah, I'll wait for the 'Gold' version.

Played. Completed. Absolutely loved it.
I'm waiting for £10 or lower to play again, but if you haven't played it yet, that's somewhat of a bloody bargain. Go get it

If you haven't played this game in Vr you haven't played it........that makes no sense to me either. It's great in vr.

7 Sep 17#10
Completed the other night and absolutely loved it. Rarely does a game grip me and do I want to keep coming back until the end. Best resident evil since the original. VR is good in spells. Although after a while I preferred the normal 2d version with higher resolution graphics.

This may be available online but when I try to order they will only deliver if you spend over £40 and click & collect isn't available unless you spend £25 ?!? Frustrating - maybe I'm doing something wrong? I tried Asda Direct site (as opposed to Asda Groceries) but it doesnt seem to be available there?
DexMorgan to SFJnet
7 Sep 17#14
Yeah doesn't look like click and collect is available which is a shame because I'd have bought at this price

Ordered 2 for Click and Collect as suggested by stu8520 - I'm sure I will be able to get £20 in cash for the second one from someone at work (conveniently not mentioning this deal!!) so only £14 for my game! Asda is cheeky to the end though - they put an extra 40p minimum charge on for carrier bags which it appears you can't cancel.
Burkazoid to SFJnet
7 Sep 17#31
You definitely can choose without carrier bags.
My concern is that click & collect in no way guarantees stock as far as I'm aware.

no, but the experience is better, as long as you can deal with the motion sickness which I got.

Can anyone tell me if it's first person only? Was hoping for third person viewing
adward1 to dark_like_vader
8 Sep 17#64
I'm pretty sure its first person only, for me its not the kind of game that would work anywhere near as well in 3rd person there are or at least from what iv'e seen so far very few enemies it seems the game is more about fear and suspense which is mainly due to the 1st person view
