I did the polarised authenticity check against my computer screen to confirm genuine.
The company are authorised Ray-Ban sellers.
Their prices are amazing.
The glasses are not fake as evidenced by other deals on here and reviews elsewhere.
HOWEVER, I think their customer service is rubbish. They also lied about the free next day delivery. Ordered my pair on Thursday and they turned up today with a great big royal mail 48hour stamp/frank.
When I chased them the other day, I was lied to by their customer services about the whereabouts of my purchase.
They don't even email you a confirmation of your purchase.
I note similar sentiment from other reviewers on other sites.
All in all, if you can put up with the poor customer service, this is a very good price for decent looking genuine Ray Ban polarized sun glasses.
Oh and it's supposed to be like 10% TCB, but mine tracked for around 7% - more evidence of the awfulness of this companies service.
Still, I got a decent deal so am happy.

Yup, and you can take them to an optician to check if they have the correct coating. Just dont buy the cheapest lookalike. There are some great ones for £15

I bought a pair of knock off Ray-Ban aviators from abroad for about £7. They were really rather bad. However, they weren't 11 times as bad as these ones though. I guess there is a middle ground somewhere between cheap & nasty and decent, but I'm yet to find it. For now, I'm happy with these new sunglasses I got today and would recommend the grey frames with green lenses.

Its v simple, if they dont have UV lenses your pupils burn. When wearing sunglasses your pupils widen, without UV to protect the widened pupils your get in trouble. which isnt worth it for buying cheap knock off specs that break way more easily anyway, plus you can spot knock offs a mile off. You get what you pay for.

No they aren't. Some things I agree they just look bad. Not with Sunny's I have't seen any that look any different from the originals. :-) Good fakes cost a wee bit more than bad ones but are as good as the originals appearance wise.

My wife also works in a Hospital ophthalmology clinic and so have heard plenty of stories about the results of not protecting your eyes from sun exposure. It appears the message about skin has somewhat got through but people have no clue about eyes :thinking:
So the copies may look the same, but that ain't gonna be much use if one day they contribute to you not being able to see your sunglasses in the first place.

Because as with everything knock off there are no standards, no reputable testing, etc, etc. Even if you get them tested by an optician (which I'm sure someone that makes such a stupid remark doesnt) that only tells you they are blocking UV light at that specific point in time. You have no idea how durable the coating is. Remember unlike a reputable brand (wether that be Boots or Ray Ban) those selling fakes have no reputation to protect and no concerns about recourse from the buyer. Do you think they give a toss if the correct coating is used for type/shape of lens, do you think they test its durability, etc etc? No, they knock them out as cheap as possible for idiots like you!

What I asked and still ask is point me to a link of ANYONE from anywhere in the world who lost their sight or had it badly effected by using dodgy Sunnies. :-) Contrary to what you may be trying to infer I am no fool. Prove to me what you say is correct and I will apologise. When I say prove I mean actual proof of harm, not what could possibly happen if I wear these every day and stare at the sun for 10 hours.

Just like smoking, exposure to the sun increases ones risks of developing particular forms of cancer and other damage. With smoking people are ready to accept it's quite likely smoking is the reason they developed lung cancer for example ( even though it can't ever be proved as the definitive cause in a particular instance). Who''s going to say "ah yes I developed cataracts because I used to wear fake Ray Bans"? No one.
But in all these cases the research and mechanism of damage is clear. And as with almost all carcinogens the level of risk is increased by the level of exposure.
UVA < 400nm causes damage to our tissue. If you have a dark tint your pupil will dilate to let more light in, providing a bigger window to allow UV in than if you had no sunglasses on. Thus you are increasing the risk of damage to your eyes with tinted glasses that don't block UV<400nm. That means a greater chance of cancer/cataracts/etc. You are actively overriding the natural mechanism your eyes have to protect themselves. You're an inconsiderate idiot for suggesting otherwise.

Bought these same ones last year from red hot sunglasses for the same price. Customer service has been great. Next day delivery too.
however around 3 weeks ago they developed a crack on the right lense where the screw holds it ontothe frame.
emailed red hot sunglasses and let them know, they asked for photos and then asked me to return the sunglasses to them (return cost at their expense), they then emailed me back around a week later and said that ray ban have confirmed this was a manufacturing issue and that a new pair was being dispatched, the next day I got a brand new pair.
cannot fault this company at all and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. 10/10 for customer service.
Also they are based only around 10 miles from where I live too.

Nice price. I purchased some for a family member over a year ago through this company. When they dropped them and cracked a lens, optician was able to verify they were the genuine article and were able to order a replacement lens. (Which was £34 FYI). Safe to buy.

Some things are very easy to replicate (Like Sunglasses) not much to them at all , and for you to try and convince me otherwise is hilarious. They make them in China! Copies probably come from the same factories.
