Many thanks, only really want the Xmas edition , but it's cheaper to do this and have it delivered for 10 weeks, started it mid November so we get the Christmas build up and the new year included too. Worked well last year, just setting a reminder to cancel the dd in my diary now

Just went for this but don't see an easy way to cancel the subscription on their website. I know I can just cancel my DD, but do I need to let buysubscriptions know as well? If so, how? Thanks

I've only ever cancelled the direct debit for these in the past , do it after I've received the first couple of issues .

have always got the £1 offer for the past few years for Christmas Radio Times, and i dont recall ever missing a Christmas Radio TImes issue for as long as I can remember! These days I tend not to read it though to be honest, so is it worth the hassle?

It is a great offer but I feel bad ordering all those copies for £1, I'd rather just have the xmas/new year issue for a good price. It seems like a waste of paper, time postage to me - even if I'm not paying for it.
They did refuse me last year because of having got the offer previously. It's great if you do read them - rather than letting them pile up - like me!
Also, it is not difficult to cancel, just ring them on the number on your confirmation. The problem with just cancelling the direct debit is that issues may still be sent and you may have to pay for them separately.

We always get the Christmas special so bought to start mid November. Also went though Quidco to make it free.
