I know nothing about football boots but upon comparing these shoes to the prices on ebay I assume they must be decent.

Are these really great value? There are other leather boots (admittedly in funky colours) for about £22 e.g. amazon.co.uk/Nik
These are Amazing value and many times better than the Nike tiempo genios you pointed out. It mainly comes down to the "last" these are made on, the foot shaped piece of plastic they use as a mould. The puma kings last, looks like a real foot providing much more comfort, and the genii last will be a squarer piece of plastic. The materials used for the the sole of the boot will also be vastly different. It's an unfortunate ploy used by ALL football boot manufacturers. If you buy the Nike tiempo LEGENDS, they will look identical to the genios but are the top of the range boot thus being much more comfortable and on a par with the puma kings. The cheaper version of the puma king is the puma esito, made much cheaper. Hope I've explained this ok and hope it helps!!

Still one of my favourite pair of football boots. I used to wear either these, umbro specialis or Adidas world cups. They beat all these colourful boots that offer no protection these days. I sound like an old man but I am only 33 but you could not beat a pair of leather boots.

Superb deal for Kings. I've recently put FG studs into mine (came as SG) otherwise I'd be on this like a fat kid on cake.

Wow! What a deal...I'm too old for footy boots now but I would have imagined these would have been a lot more to buy.
