Anyone looking for the PayPal option on pcgamesupply should note it appears to be only available on the mobile site. Shame I didn’t relalise this until after the 30% discount on the $10 voucher had ended. :disappointed: . However it’s still the easiest way to purchase this game
I think what's happened there is, PayPal isn't available for discounted credit, but is for regular non-discounted credit.

The U.S. version of the game also has uncensored multiplayer unlike the E.U. version.

As far as I understood to buy this I have to create a second account with a US address and buy US credit. Can I have two accounts at the same time on a PS4? It may sound obvious to you but I don't use PS4 so much. Thanks.

Yeah, you can have as many as you like. You need to create your new US account and then set it as the 'Primary Console' in the settings for that account.
You then just purchase the credit, buy the game from your US account where you will also download it from onto your system. Once downloaded the game can be accessed and played with your UK account as normal

I bought the $10 PSN card off PC Game Supply, but when going to buy Last of Us, there's a $0.71 tax to pay! So seems you can't buy this just off one prepaid card, wtf!

Me.
Have always had other games to play, don't really have the spare time to play a (I imagine) 30+ hour game nowadays and I've been into indie games a lot more of late.

Best you don't get this as it's brilliant and you will want to play it all the time. I envy you.

Stupidly good price for one of the best games I've ever played, buy it if you don't account share/split the cost of games with anybody. I'd say get a uk digital version of this another time though if you've waited this long (if you game/account share with a mate or family member like i do, that is) as it will work out cheaper.

So if I wanted to share my games with my two sons they would create a new user using my log in details and password and they could just download all my games? , and if they deleted my account after would the downloaded games still be there for them to play?
prynolfc to malnuman
26 Sep 17#11
It's hard to explain haha, it's much easier to set up though, but I'm not sure if you can share your bought games or ps+ membership with more than 1 family member/friend. I do it with my brother, He buys ps+ each year and I give him half of the money for the membership, and the same for any digital games/addons/DLC/micro-transactions that we purchase. He is the primary user on my console, so I don't have access to ps+ sales on the marketplace and my account is not a ps+ account, but I am still able to use all online features and play online with him at the exact same time, it saves alot of money over the years  . If I ever want to gain access to the reduced ps+ sale prices of games/DLC or download the free monthly games onto my none ps+ account, I simply log in to his account using the playstation store website on my phone/laptop or sign in to his account on my ps4 console. The only downside to this is if you don't fully trust the kids or a friend or whoever with your email and password. As they will have access to your account, so they'd able to buy stuff with your card.

Anyone thinking of doing this with someone they don't fully know - put 2 step verification on. If they try and change your password/e mail you'll get a text message giving you a code. This secures your account to a higher degree but won't stop them using any card/paypal account that's linked up to it.

Good thing to do is use say a Revolut card, and just transfer money to the card when you want to make a purchase. Safe option to stop anybody spending what isn't on the card.

Not as good as this one, but we have had sales to be fair. I got it earlier this year for £11.99 in a PSN sale. If you wanted to take the O2 credit route that's effectively 6 quid.

There's not much difference in terms of content apart from the DLC multiplayer maps. It definitely looks better, but the main thing is the smooth framerate. The PS3 version definitely went under 30fps at times and while I never had a big issue with it at the time, going back to it now would feel unplayable.
A lot of the other MP DLC (weapons/perks/cosmetics) you still need to pay for which is disappointing.
Still, it's a great game and the PS4 version is the best way to play it. At the very least you get a smoother multiplayer experience (imo the MP is incredible apart from a few annoyances). I'm not entirely sure if it's still active though as I moved over to Uncharted 4. I'd suspect that it still has a small, but fairly active community.

I played about 30 minutes of it on the PS3 and let it sit... Picked it up on PS4 and played it 3 times (and Left Behind twice). I can't say what clicked the 2nd time around but I'm so glad I went back to it. If you're the impatient sort, I could see the limited resources being a bit frustrating but story is like no other - a shocking start and a... no spoilers

There is no such thing as Pro version games. PS4 games may be optimised for the Pro but it's the same version of the game regardless of what version of the PS4 you play it on.
