That is a bundle that already has the extra controller included and is on on the standard Fifa 18 bundle. When i went to order this Ronaldo Edition bundle i had a pop up saying I can add a black controller for £29.85 which makes it a better deal imo as your getting the Ronadlo edition bundle for the same price as the standard and still getting the extra controller

The Ronaldo edition comes with the codes for the packs doesn't it? So it would just end up being the normal copy once they have been used.

Question for those in the know, please.
I know nothing about games consoles and I know nothing about football. My son is 9 and his friends have games consoles and play Fifa. I think his friends have Xbox Ones.
I was going to buy the new version Xbox One X and FIFA 18 for, in round figures,£450 from argos using the 10% off code that I have.
However, this deal is less than half that price, at £199 and it’s a games console with FIFA 18. Same then, no? Or is PS4 Slim console considerably worse quality than Xbox One X and hence it’s less than half the price?
markjames19 to Rastafari
22 Sep 17#16
If your son's friends have an Xbox, then he will need an Xbox to play against them online (if thats what he wants it for), even though it is technically the same game. The Xbox One X console is far more powerful than the standard PS4 - it offers 4k graphics, which the PS4 in this offer does not. Hope that helps
Damien.McCloskey to Rastafari
22 Sep 17#21
If your sons friends have xbox then get an xbox one s for around the same price as the ps4, both are not as powerful as the xbox one x but the xbox one s will av all the same games and the console is half the price

23 Sep 17#51
Great deal but again illustrates the fickle world of HUKD. Has been available cheaper, albeit only for new customers and at a crappy retailer (Very), yet that deal went to -100
Not really, it just highlights that a deal is more than just the price.
There's no guarantee Very will get this to you for release, they don't care about these things.
They also sometimes advertise products they don't have in stock
Furthermore, you also get credit checked even if paying upfront.
gb1999 to jayjayuk1234
25 Sep 17#62
We'll mine has been dispatched and will be here tomorrow... a deal that's £16 cheaper but has a credit check does not equate to an approx 1200degree swing in heat.
Not saying very is a better deal, they have a bad rep for a reason, but the way people vote like sheep on here is frustrating as good deals get buried.
jayjayuk1234 to gb1999
25 Sep 17#63
Problem is It's a lottery though, happy you got yours on the way, but people have been let down by Very in the past, including myself.
Any retailer is fine until you get an issue, then the so called 'Deal' turns sour, you have to take that into consideration.
Personally, i would rather pay a little extra for the peace of mind than take a chance, especially when it's a gift. On this particular bundle, it was the same price in different places, so no need to take a chance.
I also cannot tolerate companies that do not use live stock tracking on their website, poor, deceptive and inexcusable in 2017. I get the feeling it's deliberate so they keep taking more orders even if they can't fulfil them immediately.
If you feel a deal is good, then buy it, the 'heat' indication on this site is merely a gimmick and should bear no relevance.
gb1999 to jayjayuk1234
26 Sep 17#69
Sheesh... The heat deal is a gimmick is it?? It's the whole basis on which deals are judged on here!! If a deal doesn't have heat the majority of people either won't see it, or will be put off buying it, which is my point in the first place
jayjayuk1234 to gb1999
26 Sep 17#71
Course it's a gimmick, c;mon now, if you see something for silly money you know if it's a good deal or not, don't need a meter to tell me
I pay no attention to the heat, if i think it's a decent deal i'll buy it, if not i won't.
gb1999 to jayjayuk1234
27 Sep 17#74
My point, which you are continually ignoring, is that without heat in the first place people don't see the deal, or are put off but the low score. You're not, well done, but most people are, particularly if they aren't well informed on what the value of a deal is. If you know a lot about PC specs for example you can judge a deal yourself, however if you don't know anything about it but need a pc for gaming, you will be heavily influenced by what others say about the deal.
Anyway this is my last post on the subject.
jayjayuk1234 to gb1999
27 Sep 17#75
Not ignored, i get what you're saying, but you seem to view a deal by price alone.
The fact you're missing is that the reason for the heat is normally explained in the thread. usually along the lines of..
Good price.........BUT........
If the deal has taken a huge cold vote then it's best avoided regardless of price if you're unsure.
As i said, it ain't always about the price! customer service from delivery right to end of warranty is equally important. If the community has voted cold to warn potential buyers that the customer service are a joke, then that's best heeded

I tried to buy this last night. The website said that it couldn't verify my card details but my bank has confirmed that 2 payments of £200 have been taken from my account (I tried a few times). Yet I haven't received a confirmation email nor can I see the orders in my shopto account. Has anyone had a similar experience? Or can you see the orders on your account / received a confirmation email? They're not open until Monday morning, which is when I think the orders are dispatched, so I'm in a bit of a pickle.
