yes it is, surpassed DOTA 2 last week, good game and addictive, high skill ceiling so not for noobs haha :blush:

At the rate its growing, it might soon become the most popular. Almost hit 1.5 million concurrent players right now and its only been out for 6 months.
I'm interested, if this isn't even close, can you detail which games are more played and your sources? I'm assuming perhaps League of Legends? Maybe Hearthstone or Overwatch? Minecraft even..

Pubg sold 6mil, Tetris 170mil, Minecraft 122mil, wii sport 82 mil, GTAV sold 80mil, super mario bros 40 mils for example

Oh I don't mean units sold I mean concurrent players, that's how I base how popular a game is CURRENTLY
GTAV might have sold 80+m but PUBG is currently WAY more popular.

It doesnt matter what you think what a popular game is, my statement is correct in that Pubg is not the most played game ever. all the game i mention sold more which mean is played by more people than pubg. also GTAV is still outselling pubg in uk weekly sale

ok but it's not too helpful to use overall units sold as a measurement of popularity when you want to know how popular a game currently is. PUBG has 20x more players at peak than GTAV.

Just made the purchase , I'm a controller PC player these days in front of the big TV , they added PC controller support back in August , so I am finally jumped on board with this deal :smile: i'm sure I will be at a disadvantage , but I will give it a go.

Sorry for being stupid but does early access mean access to the game before it is finished, or just earlier access to the finished game, I'm still non the wiser about it's status, thx.
Thx gotcha, in this case the price seems excessive imo, essentially you are paying to test their software for them albeit rather fun software so I can see why games companies can get away with this model.

This is kind of a first on this scale. I do agree it seems a bit like he (Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene) appears to have gotton away with murder (pun unintended) I paid full price for it back in April. I would pay full price again if I had to.

I'm playing this on an RX460 and its just about playable 40-60fps, i wouldnt play it only anything lower, i dont know where they pulled the minimum system requirements from. Just a heads up.

Yeah, if you're just counting "real" games then League of Legends is still #1 by a long shot followed by Hearthstone. If you count casual games like Candy Crush they'd like dominate it all over again.

you will have no chance with a controller, even if it controls well.. Mouse and keyboard is so much faster and more precise you will be dead before you could move your aim to the enemy player.

Fortnite will have a free-to-play battle royale mode from Tuesday. That one has destructible environments and gadgets (traps etc.). I recommend downloading that if you're unsure about PuBG. epicgames.com/for…ome
