These aren't the same as the non frozen Pizza Express pizzas from Morrisons/Asda etc, not half as nice

DH just phoned, in my local (Cosham, Portsmouth) the Bolognese ones were reduced but not the Pesto ones. ~shrugs~

cheers OP - I got about 40 pizzas! couldn't find the Pizza Express selection as they had cunningly moved it away from the pizza section, but I spotted Ultra Thin Wood Fired on @ 75p half price mgr's special so loaded up on those instead - but as I was paying mentioned the Pizza Express hunt and the till girl pointed me to the right area so I bought all those as well :smile:

I always say leave one for the next guy - well I did, but they were full price lol

I went to Airdrie Iceland. It was 2.50 at the freezer but when scanned it was 50p. Great deal!!!!

Out of date? They're frozen, the best before is just a guideline for quality, nothing to do with food safety.

Paid £1.25 yesterday, marked at half price. Use by date ~23 Sept.

Pizza Express pizzas are awful, but still a good price, if somehow you like them...

Thanks OP noticed the short dates on the pizzas in the Pepsi and ice-cream deal last week so they obviously have a big batch of short dated ones. only the PizzaExpress Pomodoro Pesto Mozzarella & Tomato left in Aberdeen Holburn street, but lots of them ours were dated 21 Sept, do don't buy too many, or else you might have to have one for breakfast, one for lunch and a proper dinner!

fwiw my Pizza Express have a best before date of Sept 17, not that it matters a jot

the others (Ultra Thins) have April 2018

Picked up a few in London rd romford, meatball one was lush. Best before 21/9 but frozen so are immortal.

Couldn't see any in the Newcastle under Lyme Food Warehouse :disappointed: They had some own brand ones though - chilli beef and something else at 50p and some ultra thin ones at 75p - in an end freezer.

As great as it may seem, these are not 'true' Pizza Express pizzas, they are made under licence, for Iceland. But 50p each is still a bargain, whatever Pizza it is!

Stores should have received tickets saying 50p on these (if staff have not changed them then they should still scan at 50p). It is a national deal as they are holding a lot of short dated stock that expires over the next week or so. The store I work at they don't really sell at all at full price. These will go back up to £2.50 on the 22nd of September so get them while you can.

I love iceland now especially their specialist curries - the Indonesian and Sri Lankan and Tikka Makhani are probably the best I have ever tried from the freezer!

All varieties except Bolognaise were showing at full price £2.50 so I just picked up one. Got to the till and when I checked the price and the young girl said it was only 50p, I ran back and grabbed half a dozen. Even she said "that's really cheap!".

Best before date on all of them was Aug 2018.

Bought one for 50p. It was ham and pineapple and it was nice. It didn't however have any ham or pineapple on it.

Nice price , but yes Pizza Express is one of nasty pizza in market. Sainsbury brand taste better.

Picked some up today, marked 50p on the shelf.

Some are dated 15/09/2017 (already in the past) others are dated 21/09/2017.

Tasted pretty good - naughty but nice!

I grabbed 4 too (two of each kind, two separate days) - when buying the first two I asked the person at the till to check the price as the shelf label still said £2.50, she didn't even do that just said "yes they are 50p".... Lady overheard behind me in queue and left her kids at the till as she ran off to find them after asking for directions. I chuckled...

Nice pizzas, one had an expiry of 21 Sep 17, one was 31 Aug 18 from first lot, but didn't care... Cheap and weren't planning to keep them long.
