Good price for the 12" Version, kids will probably enjoy sketching on it too. Obviously there are apps you can install on tablets for this, but if they don't have one, or a stylus, it seems pretty decent, especially for the size.

Ive just experienced and remembered how difficult it is to get in touch with them. In July I messaged them via the order link to query where my order was but I got no reply. I have now gone to my order link and as it isn't a live active order there is no way to report an issue, no email address or contact details can be found on the site but there is a US telephone number. Researching on the internet you will find loads of complaints that you cant get in touch with them and they don't respond when you do. Be warned, the purchase may not be worth it if you have any issues.

Its a fantastic price if you compare it to other suppliers. However I bought one of these form LITB in June (was £14:18 at the time). It did take about a month to arrive which was a surprise to me as items I order from far east can be with me in 2-3 weeks. The item has stopped working in the last few days so now I am contacting LITB to see what they will do.

Sorry, but surely I'm not the only one who can't see the point in these? Basically this is a one-sheet-of-paper pad and costs over ten quid. Wouldn't a cheap pad of A4 paper be better? You can't even save what you draw or write. Enlighten me someone

I have the smaller size A5 i think) and magnetically stuck to the fridge.. Use it to make notes and things, then you just push a button to wipe.. It works very well, but its cetainly comparable to having a wipe clean board, aka white board, but without the worry of pen running pout of ink.

These are a great learning tool.
Using one at the moment to help a stroke victim learn to read and write again.
Chalk or white boards can get messy and not using paper may save a tree somewhere.

Some good points there but didnt stop me buying one. I figured it would be a cool Christmas present for my kids.... Kind of like a modern etch a sketch

Also I guess it assumes your resting wrist is an input?

Nope, it requires a small amount of pressure to write using the plastic stylus (or finger nail) put simply pressing or resting on it doesn't work

A good price for this size, cheaper than ebay.
But if you need one quickly, there is a UK seller offering the 8.5inch version for a couple of quid cheaper: ebay.co.uk/itm…J94

I've got one and write my work to do list on it each night for the next day. Beats having loads of paper in the bin at the end of the week for me. If I need to save notes off it I just take a photo of it.

So pen and paper wins hands down

I have one for playing with the bairn. These don't have a lot of contrast. Drawings are therefore quite faint. They are a nice enough thing though. CR2032 battery lasts for 50k cycles and is replaceable if need be. Paid about £14 for mine.

No connectivity? Pretty pointless then except as a noticeboard. :face_with_monocle:

'I'm saving a tree!!'
- proceeds to dump the cheap plastic crap in the bin to rot away in a landfill for years
NB: this is hyperbole

So you can't back up the notes. Does it at least save anything in internal memory?
I keep thinking that I'd like a digital notepad and pen (iPad Pro and pen, Surface Pro, Note Pro 12.2) that can seemlessly sync with my work computer, but then always seem to realise that pen and paper it always best.

How long do these take to turn up? I`v`e ordered one as I have a habit of forgetting things and maybe if I wrote it down i`ll get more done....I did try bits of paper/white board but the kids kept throwing them away lol

Nice as a standalone bit of kit. No comms to connect to PC or anything else though.
