No they're not, you obviously know nothing about them.
These are well worth the extra as they actually keep their capacity for years rather than go down to say 600mAh after a year.

These batteries are the only ones I buy. I had some headphones with rechargeables in that were maybe getting 10 hours per charge. Put these bad boys in them and now i get like 40 hours per charge. Damn good batteries.

"I get LIKE 40 hours ....." What do you mean by LIKE?? Either you get 40 hours or you don't. LIKE doesn't come into it! Do yourself and all of us a favour and give up the use of LIKE in these circumstances. Please!

Whoa! Chill out. They obviously mean that they get roughly 40 hours give or take a few hours as they probably haven't used a stopwatch to time it precisely! No need to go off on them for this comment

I'm with the previous poster. No need to use the word, like. Around? That would be fine. As someone who spends a fair bit of time in the US, I hate the fact that most people over there think life is one big simile!

I agree that using a different word would have been better, however IMO this is not the correct forum to attack peoples language they decide to use, so the personal attack was unnecessary.

It was hardly a personal attack! Come on, I think you're getting a bit carried away here. And, for the record, I think pedant99 was out of order - there was no need for every sentence to start a new line!

What I was getting unchilled about was the ridiculous use of the word LIKE. Totally unnecessary. What possesses people to use it in that manner?

The description and picture say 70% capacity/charge after 5 years - whereas the ones on Amazon say they last 10 years.
According to eneloop101-com, the ones that say 5 years are grey imports (not made in Japan) -
And the Chinese made batteries since then show a 70% left after 5 yeras,
so it can be pretty confusing for certain markets.
Does anyone have any experience with the Chinese made Eneloop's?

Try the Xtar VC4 which is around £20. Intelligent charging of NiMh as well as Lithium ion cells.

Nitecore D4 is the one I use.
Not I bad price, use these as well as Engerizers which are comparable with a multi-pack of GP Ultra non rechargeable for emergencies.

How do these compare with the ones at the 7dayshop? I have had eneloop in the past some have been great, but some just refuse to recharge after a few uses. The charged implies they are dead. Is there any way to reactivate these batteries?

If you are using a clever charger, try charging dead cells briefly in a "dumb" charger to see if that revives them. When they are used in series, it is possible that one can be discharged to nothing (or reverse charged), and a clever charger won't detect it afterwards.

If you only have a smart charger like me, there is a solution. It's possible to connect the positive terminal to the positive terminal of a charged battery and the two negative terminals together. Usually 10 or 15 seconds is enough to bring the voltage up to a level where the charger recognises the battery and starts charging.

Are these the China or Japan made ones?
Also, anyone know their fit/size? The last few rechargeables I've bought wouldn't fit in some devices. Just a fraction bigger, strangely.

1900 mAh is not good enough for the price. I have seen 2500 mAh low discharge rechargeables for maybe a pound more than this for 8 pack. Well worth getting those instead.

I'd be interested to see what batteries you're talking about, I know 1900 isn't the best but I think one of the main benefits of these is that they will last for (supposedly) >2000 cycles.
dz1 to LetoKynes

It's Vapextech batteries but they only last for 1000 cycles. So you got a point there. More cycles for the eneloops but each cycle doesn't last as long.
