not sure on quality but at £99 who gives a S**t it will last some years if looked after. Do the Outbacks use Lava Rocks or flame tamers/flavouriser bars. Not sure which is best if im honest and totally forgot to get a bbq this summer so looking to take advantage of the cheaper prices now winters approaching

My outback model came with lava rocks, the previous year it had come with flavouriser bars. So it depends on the model and year of manufacture. Outback sell a rack kit to convert there BBQ's to lava rocks even if not sold with them and also griddles if you want to increase griddle area or replace a rack if your model didn't come supplied with one. They also have a wide range of spares, hence why the wife insisted I didn't buy a shop branded BBQ. Not the cheapest for parts and lava rocks are available in bigger packs and cheaper elsewhere, but at least it helps justify the extra initial outlay for their models.

You joined today just to post that comment? Sounds like sour grapes. I've had an outback appollo for 3 years and it's been excellent

Can't say for certain but think box A scanned at £124.99 and box B at £99.99. Remember it came to over £200 but can't recall exact price. However if people are passing their local pop in and give it a go but mine were switched on yesterday and scanned both when checking the price.

Yes he did there is a barcode on both boxes. They've only scanned one box. Shows clearly on your receipt. Like the other bbqs on here there are two boxes which both SHOULD be scanned he obviously didn't know. Fair play you got a bargain but unlikely others will be as lucky.

This comes in two boxes so the person forgot to charge for the second box. It's actually £200+. In total. I know because I went into store yesterday and they scanned it for me.
