The Turing Test looks decent.
Gone Home is a game you'll either love or hate. It was given free with PS+ though a while ago so I have no interest in that on the XO.
Not the worst month but still tolerable.

Can the mod/admin team take this announcement as a reason to ban any rumours or leaks in the deals section? I mean it was an unverified source and got people's hopes up for no reason.
If it's allowed to continue, we might as well all cash in some fake news too.

As someone stated, you either love it or hate it. I can't stand walking simulators unless it's a horror game so if you're a big fan of the genre my opinion here has little worth. Saying that, Gone Home was the game that soured my opinion of walking simulators in the first place.

Bought Turing test ages ago, regrettably. As far as Portal knock-offs ago, its crazy boring/bland. Puzzles are decent for sure, but I'd suggest some background tv, podcasts or whatever because the story is poor. Just goes to show how important Stephen merchants funny and engaging voiceover was in portal 2.
Gone Home however, great story for one (very) short play through.

Oh wow.. I had a totally different experience.
It's a first person puzzle game based on a selection of locations (rooms). That's about as Portal as it gets, much like The Talos Principle.
The Turning Test is very space themed, with the atmosphere of the game more a Space Odyssey/The Moon feeling to it, than an action packed (thanks to it's music when moving fast) escaping Portal story driven element to it.
I personally found The Turning Test's puzzles a little underwhelming, there was a lot of scope for much harder puzzles, and I was hoping for something a little more... less of the simple logical.
It's going to be one of those games that you ether enjoy, or don't.
One things for sure though, Portal has set the standard for first person room based puzzle games, even if it wasn't the first game to do it. The Turning Test is well worth playing to the end, just don't jump into it thinking it's going to be like portal. It's why a lot of people were disappointed with The Talos Principle (another superb game btw).
Definitely by all counts, if you can listen to a TV show or Audible book while playing The Turning Test do so, but I was quite happy to play it for a room or two while having my morning coffee to help engage the brain cells.
Sir_Deadpool_of_Awesome to Si__

Some fair points there mate. Portal certainly set the bar for me, and although nowhere near as good as either portal I'd rate Talos principle over this.
I think because the puzzles weren't that hard it was just like I was slogging through each room to continue the story, which is delivered through a boring voice actress and a fella who sounds like an unmotivated Jeremy Irons , which might actually be Jeremy Irons but was so unengaging I've never bothered to look it up.
Portal is the bar man, I'm just too far gone :fearful:
