Far superior. Grohl's drums make this and Albini records everything live which makes this sounds dirty. Shame the record label got Scott Litt to remix and make it more radio friendly

Depends whether the super-clean pop-rock of "Nevermind" or the noisy guitars and booming drums of "In Utero" are your thing. Lots of people can't handle "In Utero" in comparison to "Nevermind". Personally, they both great albums, but "In Utero" excites me more these days.
