I have the older model, the screens excellent. Remember to register it with MSI as you can get extra time added to your warranty for free!

Would have been really good if it had an SSD. For the screen, gpu, cpu, decent brand. Voted hot. Good price especially the fact that you get 12 months to pay it.

Good deal, my friend was looking for a laptop for her partner yesterday and I advised her on this one, for the price it's pretty damn good. Don't feel it's as good as the £530 Dell that they had which was similar spec 256SSD instead of 1TB HDD and the 4GB 1050 instead, but still not bad.

Screen is better though!

Yeah that's the apparent downside to the Dell, which when using it i've not really seen these issues. For £70 less, an SSD instead of a HDD and the better graphics card, I still feel that the Dell was a better buy. Obviously that's no longer available anyway, which is why I've voted this one hot for what it is.

I assume it would be easy to stick an SSD in as well?

Not bad at all, and it's a proper i5-7300HQ (i.e. quad core). It's only the 2GB version of the 1050 graphics card, but this is a pretty peng deal for less than £600.

Of course. PUBG could be played even on a gpu from 4 years ago.
