As above. Priced at £99.95 - Use code UKWELCOME10 to get this price. Although it specifically says that this discount code is not valid on C or C Plus, it does work. I ordered 2 phones in separate orders, each for the above price. (Thanks to Dude1971)
There's also 5% TCB.

There's sooooooon much irony flying about in your one statement there, hehehehe.
Pre-2000, people complained that the then 1.5-2 inch screens on their phones were toooooo big!.
2000 came, and people complained that the then 3-3.5 inch screens on their phones were toooooo small instead!.
So the market made 'allowances', and surprise surprise, the 4-4.5+ inches phones suddenly exploded everyyyyywhere!. Everywhere such that 5-5.5 inches on a phone are pretty much standard now? And now people are crying for smaller?!, hahahahaha.
What of those people rocking the 6+ inches phones currently out there in the market then?, what story should we tell them also?, hehehe.
I'm typing this message to you now on my 'UK sourced (Network Three) Lenovo P2 as we speak, and am personally luvvvvvvvvv'ing the extra screen give that the 5.5 inch screen allows for (apart from all it's other bangs and whistles, etc). :-)
I would definitely get another!.
I've contemplated over the last few days the other Lenovo P2 'Chinese' variants coming forth on HUKD, from the likes of BangGood, GearBest, and the like ... as more initial internal space to begin with in addition to an added memory card (which I currently have a 32gb memory card in my 32gb Lenovo P2 anyway), would do me just dandy. :-)
The original Lenovo P2 UK version has 2 SIM slots, of which could be utilised as just a 2 SIM phone, and that's it, OR 1 of those 2 SIM Slots could be utilised for a MicroSD card slot instead (+ 1 SIM card too of course?).
But I'm not 100% sure as to IF these currently Chinese sourced Lenovo P2 phone's play it this same way also? (via the 2 SIM/1 SIM + 1 MicroSD combo?), as none of those original Posters over the last x-days have ever mentioned?.
Anyways, that's my 2 Cents anyway?, lol. :-)
Enjoy the rest of your morning + the rest of your day everyone. :-)

The E4 at Tesco is locked to Tesco as well - you need to pay £120 for the unlocked version

This or the E4 at Tesco for £95? Which is better. Apart from the finger print reader and and the smaller battery is there anything else?

The E4 also has a Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, and NFC. Build quality is also better.

For those that would rather have the Moto G4 Play, keep checking here as it's always in and out of stock: o2.co.uk/sho…ew/

I don't get the competitiveness and sniping over deal posting on here. If a deal someone posted helps someone out, and they point it out in the comments on another deal, what's the problem?

Thank you, also I commented on this deal first, it was not till I went looking for an example that I noticed the gearbest offer and decided to post the deal, I would not mind but it is not as though I provided a link on this listing to my deal.

Absolute budget phone. If you use your phone for anything more than the most basic functions I wouldn't bother with this. Would be useful if you really need a backup running Android but otherwise why bother?

The UK variant sold in Argos is 1GB RAM. I know because I bought one for review. I can't say for certain which variant the Motorola store is though (I'd be surprised if there were two UK variants).
The lacking RAM isn't the only issue. The phone also lacks almost all basic sensors (such as proximity, ambient light) available on other smartphones of this price. It's a very basic smartphone for £90, big battery though.

I won't pretend to understand why they sell 2 separate variants, where one is better than the other, at the same price, for the same market, with almost identical specs to the superior E4 series.
I'm not surprised though, this is Lenovo Motorola, who changed the simple E G X Moto series for about 50 separate handsets/variants, depending on country and retailer.

It's 2G/16G Dual SIM slot + SD slot (c plus, not to be confused with normal c)
Works very nice, I bought one a while back (same offer) posted it up in some threads and a few other bought it too. A few more relatives shave bought them also as it fits the bill for them perfectly. Basically and you who want that sized phone and a large fast charge battery.
Faster and smoother than Moto phones of old from use (G3/E's for example, in use).
It does the job.
It's not a P9 Lite beater, but then it's not the same price either ;-)
Camera is fine for pics, led on the front for video chat etc and blinding you ;-)

I've got a G4 Play and the 1GB makes it a frustrating phone to use. Very laggy. It's a shame as apart from that it would make a decent budget phone.

Can anyone advise if the G4 play for £119.99 (using same code) is worth the £30 extra outlay
chancooluk to cadmus
5 Sep 17#20
Technically it's a better phone, but the battery life is worse. The Moto G4 Play was never worth £120 though, and has been sold on multiple occasions for £60-£80 at various retailers over the past year.

Wouldnt buy direct from them again - dreadful customer services - arrived broken screen and because I didnt open it the same day they stated it was my fault. Took months of wrangling to get refund and that was via Paypal not Motorola. Motorola still have the phone and send me a fortnightly email asking me to pay £3 more than the purchae price to repair it.
