Had mine since launch, and bought a further 3 from Carphone warehouse earlier this year with the free JBL speaker mod offer for family members.
Very quick phone, superb screen (higher pixel density than Google pixel), can't fault it.. other than the smaller than normal battery that I can still get a days use it of.
The only thing I do find I miss is a dedicated headphone jack, But that's about it everything else on the phone is top end and quality

How does it work without a headphone socket - do you need to buy another adapter?

Of course this. This is flagship with snapdragon 820 and 4gb of ram.

The new G5S gets a an octo core processor and is available in gold. Also likely to get newer OS updates.

Moto z get one more update as well. Snapdragon 820 is far better than sd625. Only sd821 and sd835 are faster. Moto z has 4gb LPDDR4 ram (moto g5 LPDDR3) and 32gb UFS 2.0 NAND, wchih is couple of times faster than in any moto g5 model. Amoled in moto z is much better and i do not think so that moto g5 has usb type c, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2x2 MIMO or LTE category 12/13.

No other codes ?. Got the G5 plus for £189 with a stack of codes previously posted on here. Have that and 3 other Motorola phones which I swap about. Really cant fault Motorola. Great battery life. Was given a present of an iphone at Xmas. Crap phone by comparison. Have to carry a "brick" around with me to recharge the bloody thing. Great deal btw.

MyUniDays does a 10% student discount.
It only applies to the cheapest item in your basket though, so it doesn't work on this deal because it tries to take 10% off the free wireless charging case. :disappointed:

Are you sure it's not the Moto Z Play you're finding at that price?

All the websites I found at that price are shipped from China or Hong Kong. You might be stung by the VAT + Duty + Clearance Charge, which would put your cost at over £300. You'll probably also receive a US charging plug with it.
That's if you ever recieve it, given the reviews on all of those websites are incredibly poor. Customer service not responsive, products taking months to arrive, or just not arriving at all.

I have it, it's a great phone but there is always interference on speaker when making calls, Only seems to be when using Three so perhaps it's a frequency issue I'm not sure, Returned my first one but the second one does the same :(.

Amazing phone, VR is sweet. Just ordered a third party daydream controller ($15) to try out daydream (works like the original and supports all daydream content). Amazingly slim! Battery is of course smaller due to this, but I have the battery motomod if I need a boost.
Anyone comparing this to a Xiaomi please stop, this is leagues ahead in terms of quality. Like wise comparing to a G5S is also pointless, for the extra £30 this costs you get the mods, screen, better cpu and more ram, oh and daydream compatibility.

Tempted, but then it passed. £300 back into my account

Good deal, paid this for mine from JL 6 months ago with the JBL speaker. Lovely phone. Just noticed if you do order this and get the quick charge shell case, you still need to buy a quick charge pad. Heated.

Why they displayed the price as £309 for moto Z?

Because the price is £309. Add the discount code UKWELCOME10 to get to the deal price of £299.
The was previously sale at £ 299 without using the code.

How is nearly three times better than the £118 Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Global Edition 5.5-inch 3GB RAM 32GB ROM Snapdragon 625 Octa-core 4G Smartphone ?

Do you think the rumoured bazel free Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 launching on Monday will be more comparable to the Moto z, in spec and importantly price, sub £300? thanks

I take your point. Moto Z has better display, more RAM, faster processer. Established brand. Another phone being good value doesn't make this bad value.

Had this phone 3 months. Battery lasts nearly a day with moderate use, quick charge as mentioned is great and compensates. Runs very smooth. Best phone I've owned, (coming from a Sony Z2).

I've had mine for 6 months and it's still going strong. It's not got a big battery (hence the incredibly slim size) but mine still lasts a day of moderate use. Quick Charge goes a long way towards compensating for the smaller battery - a few minutes charge puts a lot of juice back into it.
And it's a cracking phone - ridiculously thin (think it's still the slimmest on the market?), it's quick, responsive and the screen quality is excellent.
So heat from me.

Great phone, however.......
Mine recently died after doing an official OTA UPDATE. Went in to boot loop. The phone was returned by John Lewis to Lenovo and it was returned to me with the same issue. Still trying to resolve.
Hopefully mine is an isolated case. Loved the phone until that point and have been slightly nervous to do the same update on wife's phone.

Battery deteriorated rapidly on mine after four months. Was having to charge it twice a day in the end. Then it died completely. Replaced it with a different phone.

And no mention of this offer anywhere on the website. Please advise if this is valid.
Edit: Found it but wasnt this always avaiaible with the phone anyway.
