The offer should arrive in paper form at the employees house and should also be available on their sparks card. The offer is 10% off for employees (who already get 20% off so it's effectively 28% for the period of validity) and 20% for the employees friends (not to be used in conjunction with staff discount). I believe the offer is run in a couple of waves nationwide. Cheshire & Staffordshire and apparently Scotland ran from the 9th till the 11th (along with other regions but I'm not sure which they are) and so ended 3 days ago. Which regions this wave applies to, I'm not sure. -M&S employee.

Not sure about dates and local regions, but we were in town (Preston) today, spending 20% off vouchers on the last applicable day. Lots of people doing the same, and passing on unused vouchers to others in the queue without.
