I went on the hunt for one of these today. Despite no stock showing online at Currys I found one. However now that I'm home, I've noticed Amazon have now matched. So anyone wanting a very capable cordless mouse fill your boots.
I already have the 1st edition, so this new one will go well with the second PC I've just built

It's a good mouse but note the middle click is relegated to the tiny button below the wheel and, illogitechally, the scroll click (aka middle button) just toggles scroll speed and cannot be remapped.

good point, but a lot of people who work on documents find that to be helpful, use click the wheel to adjust it speed, click the dedicated button to free mouse scroll. I see what you mean though, once you get used to something its difficult to go back

It doesn't toggle the scroll speed, it toggles whether the scroll wheel is clicky or smooth.

I'm not sure if it is different on the smaller but on the bigger mx anywhere I have remapped the smaller button below the scroll wheel.

people forget that the scroll wheel is also a button

If it's like the older VX model, pressing the scroll wheel changes between free-wheeling and clicky scrolling modes only, the middle button functionality is on a separate button.
Granted this is the larger model. but just thought I would let you know.

Loved mine but my kids misplaced it and bought another one. I wished I had bought this one again. Specially good on uneven surfaces

on nearly 99% of the mice i've had the middle button is the scroll wheel, by pressing down on it

Nearly purchased this almost one year ago when it was its lowest ever price (£26.99 back in Nov 2016). Hesitated and it jumped up in price. Hasn't dropped to this price since as far as I know.
That's for posting this deal OP.

it's perfect until it starts double click itself.... I've got 2 of them , tried to fix them but they are still in parts ... I bought technet for 1/4 price and works longer flawlessly

I've got the 2s version paid 60 quid for it after my last 2 mice died to the same double click problem... I don't hold much hope :disappointed:

Sorry to hear that. I've only ever had one for a couple of years. Still going strong

Buttons click few times when pressed once, tried to fix it with YouTube, but gave up. Can be easy but that's not the point. Same problem in 2 of them...

This mouse is too small - more for women's hands.

Personally I like small mice as I fingertip grip my mouse (I only touch it with the tips of my fingers).

Still in stock at that price! Very nice

A few idiosynchrasies, but you should buy this mouse. The three available pairings alone is a total game changer. Takes a bit of getting used to and I admit I was a bit grated by the scroll/middle button thing (it *is* stupid) but I wouldn't be without it now. Hope to hell it doesn't develop known issues, I love it.
