Paid £35 for this a week ago and it's a brilliant mouse. The precision is amazing once you download the 'Logitech gaming software' from their website and set the DPI quite low (I have it set to 800 and 1100), check enhance pointer in the DPI settings then go to Control Panel/mouse/mouse properties/pointer options and set mouse to full speed.
At £22 this is a steal and it's very comfortable to use unless you have big hands as it's quite a small mouse.

Bought! Was thinking of trying a cable mouse again after using my G700s for years... Let's see about the new sensor, weight and size diffs!

How does this compare to the Logitech 300S that was on offer earlier this week?

the mercury sensor in this one is better than the one in the g300s.
but the biggest difference is the shape. which is also the most important factor. if the g300s shape is better for your hand then it would be the better choice.

I saw this last night during the deal changeover and I'm very tempted.
I need a mouse in the interim for gaming while I build a system.
I'm also looking at the Corsair Harpoon which is on sale for circa £27~ but I have a £10 voucher I won from work. So which one would be the better one to go for? This or the Corsair. Reviews are good for both but it's been a while since I bought a gaming mouse. Thanks.

If you have other Corsair RGB products, you can use their software to sync lighting effects across all devices. If you don't or if you're not interested in that, then get whichever is cheapest. Both are nice mice and you won't be disappointed with either.

I do have a Corsair Void headset so this would stand to reason. However I've been reading a few reviews online and it seems the Corsair is hit and miss when it comes to people's satisfaction. I may end up getting this one as reviews seem pretty solid.
