Believe it's the LG Quadbeats, they're decent. I've only heard bad things about the B&O ones and they were given out during a promotion IIRC, the promotion is long over.

So much for being worried about ordering from theses guys. I ordered on sat and its due for delivery tomorrow via DPD. I guess the warranty may still be an issue but I have home insurance for that.

The V20 isn't even sold here so it's pretty much impossible to get warranty from LG on this phone in the UK anyway. Mine should be with me this afternoon.

Exactly, your taking a chance for a phone thats worth a hell of a lot more than £250.
Ive only ever had one phone break on me that I can remember (LG G4 bootloop) but the V20 is meant to not have the boot loop issue.
Let us know if it comes in one piece when its delviered.

I've had one of these since launch. Initially it was great, but over time it's become sluggish and delays in reacting to touches. The mic for phone calls has no packed in and can only make them through speaker phone or bluetooth now. The automatic screen brightness has a mind of it's own, even when not switched on. I've had the LG G3,G4,G6 and now the V20, everyone of them has gave me problems, I kept giving LG another chance. The LG V30 looks epic but i think it's time for me to move back to Samsung, last Samsung i had was an S4.

Never used or heard of Toby Deals before - just did some research on them and would stay well clear. Lots of people saying stuff against them online. They don't respond to emails and also the items get shipped from Hong Kong, and if the items get lost or damaged in transit, their policy is to not pay out and to tell you to claim from the courier lol (you won't get your money back from the courier) - it sounds like a scam to me. Also they illegally charged restocking fees etc. to people for returning faulty items etc.
Cepultura to Master_Yoda

However, ive found threads online saying no problems, even on this site. So I guess it varies, and as always, a negative voice will be louder than a positive voice.

Taken from their own terms and conditions on their website:
'Note: 1) When choosing "Standard Shipping Method", service
during transition of good is solely the liability of courier companies.
Courier companies only cover physical loss or damage of goods during
transit subject to the maximum liability specified in the terms of
conditions of their service'
It also states in their terms and conditions that if you expect a refund for lost items, you have to pay an extra £20 insurance fee when playing your order for 'premium shipping'. This they state is the only option which entitles you to a refund if the item gets lost in transit. Shockingly they even state they won't refund the fee back if your item gets lost(??) - wow. These are their own terms and conditions and not even people's comments lmao.
I can't even begin to wonder what fun and games happen regarding warranty claims months later should you receive your product.

I've had one of these for a while - here are a few observations;
bright clear screen, but blacks look a bit washed out Speaker quality only average battery life pretty bad - under 4 hours of SOT for me Second screen not that useful, and difficult to reach WiFi signal good, mobile signal only average No waterproofing Quad DAC (to my ears) overrated. Slight improvement in sound and volume, but not mindblowing Build quality good Removable battery good (and necessary) Camera excellent, especially in manual mode Wide angle rear camera is useful but no good if you pixel peep, and poor in low light Selfie camera only average Video recording excellent (especially sound), but OIS not great
On the battery front, I did a side by side with my Lenovo P2 (yes I know it will win) streaming the same 1080p movie on Youtube.
1h 55m movie - maximum brightness (manual)
P2 started at 41% finished at 33% V20 started at 47% finished at 8%
I'd still recommend it as a good all rounder at a great price, but warranty concerns (given LG's poor track history) and poor battery life should be noted.
A highlight battery-wise is minimal standby drain - I unplugged at 100%, 10 hours later still 100%

I read somewhere that to get the best from the DAC you need to use high impedance headphones.
locktheworldout to iDealYou
23 Sep 17#33
That's true. My understanding is there's 3 modes. 'basic' mode for headphones under 50 Ohms, Aux mode which boosts the output and quad Dac mode for 50 ohm and above.
When I got mine, I simply tried the B&O earphones and being under 50 Ohms the quad Dac didn't kick in, and volume wasn't loud enough.
There's a hack to force aux mode, this made it louder, but for comparison my old iPhone 3G sounded better.
I then bought an impedance adapter to trick the quad Dac into action. Again, an improvement but nothing breathtaking.
I've now tried it with 2 different high impedance sets (admittedly they're not massively expensive ones) and used 24 bit flacs as the source.
Don't get me wrong, it sounds good, but to my ears it wasn't night and day better - just louder.
Of course it's only my opinion and every reviewer raves about it.
I maybe should have managed my expectations.

For me it was an easier decision as I needed a decent phone with removable battery and good camera on a budget, not many option available(the next one,v30,has non-remov. battery, so this its probably the last). As a bonus has very good sound recording quality, also useful for me, as I said want to use it on a gimbal and try to edit short travel clips. Its the price that makes it a good deal, otherwise there are a lot other better phones out there, including Sony's. If I wasn't after these features, I probably would have gone for a mid-range chinese firm phone.

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to see. I was thinking about getting this since yesterday's deal and this nailed it, got the battery case as well. I have a decent camera but it's so convenient if your camera is in your pocket, going to use this as my secondary phone.
For anyone interested why I asked this question, see the below studio condition low light set up: gsmarena.com/pic…852 Of course it's going to look better than real life because it's in a studio! But look at the £10 note's quality, the v30 is the new phone and it looks tragic compared to the v20!

Phone is still really good (2016 flagship), how much did you get it for?
I just bought my xperia x for £187, but got it discounted to £150 because it didn't come as expected, if I could get the axon 7 for £200 I woulda jumped at it, but cheapest one on amazon was £350...

LG V20 I had it in titan grey, rose pink and at last silver all of them within 3 months of use. I bought them for over £280 and below £287 depended on the colour. Xperia X was been on my list for couple of months aswell good deal. I got my ZTE Axon 7 like new from CEX in early december for £265.00

True, that's why I always buy gear when I really need it. I still got my doogee I bought almost two years ago, still going strong despite the abuse went through. But its time for an upgrade to a decent camera to use with my gimbal.
Although I don't thing the price will drop considerably more, the v10 still sells at £160-170.
I order also this, cheaper than anywhere else, so never have to put my phone on the charger, or charge half-empty battery.
I'm not quite sure why a phone is placed in av, phones and computers...

It seems to be the way that the refreshed website spams itself with a legion of pointless keywords thus leading to one deal showing up in 3 or possibly more categories leading to massive clutter. It used to be useful browsing by category now that's been seriously compromised. And that really annoying way the main menu slides down as if designed by one of the morons at Apple. I blame Brexit.

This have band 20 for uk carriers?
Also are they shipping from abroad any risk of custom charge?

Hot price for deal btw.
It's the 64Gb, dual-SIM, quad-DAC version, so yes, it'll have B20 as well.
Edit: another thing I'd strongly recommend is paying by credit card (or, if no CC at least by PayPal).
