eGlobal and LG. Hah! What a frightening combination. Avoid at all costs.
I know both too well. RIP LG G4 :disappointed:

Ahhh so keen but wanna see what v30 brings to the table before going for this one. Looking forward to a phone with a dedicated audio chip finally!

We already know what the V30 will bring to the table, the question is, when it will bring it to the table and for how much??

True, but rather see what the phone is like when it comes out - reviews vs simple specs on paper, the price as you pointed out and if it isn't that good, then hopefully how much it will drive the price of this one down!
Does this have band 20 to use with UK mobile providers?

IIRC yes, I'm not at home at the moment but I've had full 4G from Vodafone & BT (EE) no issues whatsoever with signal. It is a lot better for signal than my previous Motorola Nexus 6

I'm typing this on my LG V20 I bought from eGlobal Central many months ago now, excellent phone, & I've had 2 high value items from eGlobal and both arrived very quickly to the UK and both brand new & unused so from my perspective I'm totally happy with both right now, just my 2p's worth
PS: don't forget Quidco cashback as well

any import duties when buying from eglalcentraluk?
I looked at batteries like that but decided that they were physically too big, bigger capacity than I need most days, and I doubt cases are available to fit. I just wish LG had made the phone a millimetre or two thicker and fitted a 4000mAh+ battery. That would easily cover, almost, everyday for me, still easily fit in my pocket, and save me worrying about remembering to take a powerbank, that I rarely end up needing, when out and about.

Great phone. 3 microphones and fantastic audio spec for recording and playback. Infrared, rare now...works great as a multi device remote control. Happy. From eGlobal''s ebay store. No customs charges.

Currently got a Samsung Note 4 and been looking for an upgrade for a while, micro SD and removable battery (for extended battery) has won it for me!

Enjoy screen ghosting just after a while. My G4 lasted exactly 9 months and hey presto!

Why making comments on V20 deal if you had G4 ?

Because LG used the same quantum dot screen on the G4, G5, V10 and V20 so be warned. I had each one except the V20 and all had screen retention.

Just bought one, upgrading from my G4 from that famous Vodafone deal of a couple of years ago.

Anyone know if this phone has any bootloop issues? I believe only LG Snapdragon 808 phones had this problem but that was due to a motherboard issue. Curious to know if LG stepped up their game on this.

As I understand it there is no credible evidence of bootloop problems with this phone. It's been out for over a year and if you search for "V20 bootloop" all you find is people, apparently looking to buy a V20, asking "does the V20 have a bootloop problem?" Obviously there will be occasional faulty units, and people who want to blame LG for their phone not working after dropping it in the bath etc, but, overall, it seems the model is pretty reliable.

I ordered one and it arrived today. First thing I did was scan it with MalwareBytes and I'm pleased to report that it found nothing amiss. It's an excellent phone in my opinion. The only very small negative I will mention is that it comes with a euro charger and an EU/UK plug adapter. I can tell just by looking at the adapter that it's not BS compliant as the earth pin is partially insulated. It also doesn't look as if it's fused. If you're getting one of these phones PLEASE ditch the supplied EU/UK adapter and get a proper one. Even the ones from Poundland are safe, and much better than these.

One of the beauties of this phone's design is the options it gives you, admittedly at the cost of some extra bulk:
