You need the 800mhz band (20) for the UK, this says it does not have it. Why would you put this on (UK) hot deals

i ordered a PIONEER DAP from them on monday it got delivered today, i don't see what's the negative publicity about?yes the warranty is not european but i guess you are paying way lesser than european prices. You can't have both. And FYI i have been buying expensive electronics since i was 20 i'm 35 and never have i had to claim teh warranty on any of my products. you hjust have to buy Good brands, appart from DOAs you shouldn't have a problem.

LG ruined this potentially great mid ranger by using a crap CPU and plastic backing that makes it scratch easily. Why use 7,000 series aluminum and then plastic??

Please, please do not use these people!!! They're not based in UK, they are in Hong Kong. Devices are obviously not European, so if any goes wrong with them you are not covered by manufactures warranty here in the UK. You have to send it back to eGlobal, to which I have read horror stories of them charging silly amounts to fix and return.
I bought a HTC A9 from them. Took 4 weeks to get to me. No communication from them, no live chat as suggested on their website, no reply to FB messages. Sent countless emails and no reply. Got a tracking link which was false. I then posted a review on Trust Pilot and they instantly jumped on it to say I needed to contact them via email. Before I could they'd already sent me a new tracking link which told me the device would be with me in a week. It then turned up the next day, with a completely different courier. Turned on the phone, everything was in Chinese so had to fumble through the set up to then change it to English US. No English UK as the ROM was not European. Just painful from start to finish. Not worth the money you save!

Then why would you get this over a Xiaomi redmi note 4. I am assuming 600 series snapdragons are better than 400 series. If your getting from Hong Kong I got mine from MC from Singapore.

Thanks for the info andygnicholls, i just wish poeple would include this information. We all want to help others get a good deal but when posting a deal lets make it clear when its an import, and then we can look at Trustpilot for reviews and decide if we like to proceed with the order / purchase

I agree that it would be best to let folk know clearly that there is a potential issue with returns/warranty - fairly typical of the randomness of HUKD - one thread gets great info, the next gets silently iced, etc.
I ordered my wife's G6 from them & all was fine - phone posted from Manchester, arrived 8 working days after ordering & worked fine out of the box (better than the UK model as it was a Korean model with dual sim, DAC, more memory & more storage). Best of all I got it at a great price - would have had to pay around 50% more for the inferior UK model.
That said, due to some wise words on a HUKD thread, I paid by credit card for section 75 protection just in case (must be the primary card holder & must be direct, not via paypal). Sad to say that some folk report it not even being worth talking to eGlobal if issues arise - simply go straight to the card company.

I still use my G2, I am so used to the knock on screen wake. I will make sure to get a phone with memory card and more memory on board.

One word of caution for folk looking to upgrade (as I am from a G3) to a modern phone; I got my wife the G6 & I find the screen ration (18:9 or whatever they call it) strange - I don't hate it, but I don't see that it adds anything & the same screen size in 16:9 would be more usable IMHO. I think they had a brainstorm - want to make the handset narrower - can't lose out on the inches war - make it 2:1 - people will not know how that compares to 'normal' - lets call it 18:9.
For me, same screen size with 16:9 would be best (slightly wider & shorter phone), but given the option at the same money I would even prefer 16:9 with a slightly smaller screen diagonal & shorter phone.
That said show me a G6 for £300 or less & I'd be damned tempted!

My partner has just moved from the G4 to a Galaxy S7. A little hunting will get you a next to new handset on eBay for £250 or less. I picked up the handset only for £220 with 2 yrs manufacturer warranty still left. Perfect condition. Amazing phone.

What's the difference in G6 and Q6 though? And manufacturer/spec/price surely = Hot? i don't understand how some tech gets the Peh response, yet a better option and reason rarely ever put up. ?

The G6 is a flagship whereas this is a low end device. It uses the Snapdragon 435 for one whereas the G6 is using the top end 835 processor.

G6 actually has the older Snapdragon 821, but it's still a lot better than the q6, albeit for at least double the money
