Used TV100 in store at Watford and took one home with me. Have to say I'm hugely impressed with HD channels straight out of the box and the 4K demos (e.g. Planet Earth 2) are breathtaking. It's a massive step up from an 8 year old LCD. Glad I took the plunge!

Light levels - the OLED will have little issue with ambient day light in an average room. When do you watch? Daytime in an open windowed room? Family viewing? Everyday TV or movie nights?
IMO using a projector as a full time TV replacement is not going to give you much satisfaction since the 4K resolution will be quickly spoiled by ambient light in normal daytime viewing, especially so if watching a few hours a day and don't want the blinds/curtains drawn.
'BULB' life is a factor you should consider if wanting to use it as an everyday viewing device rather than movies.
Noise and heat - it can be bothersome running a projector when watching a film, think spoiling of the ambience, invested in surround sound? The fan noise will be noticed - for example the sound of fan(s) blowing can really take away from the spatial sound of a quiet horror movie moment, even dialogue becomes tainted by the blow and whir of the ever present swoosh.
All of this being said, a 4K projector in a box with the right faffing around for cooling and silence, ceiling mounted speakers for height effects and quality surround speakers makes for something really special for movie nights.
TL;DR OLED over the projector if you're viewing 'TV' for a few hours everyday in a normal living room with family. If you have a wife/husband that hates 'faff', the OLED! - it's truly not worth the phone calls asking why the projector isn't switching/outputing/resizing when the other half is trying to catch an hour of normal TV.

I know, sorry what part confuses you? They don't compare, that was kind of the point I was making.
With LCD/LED (same thing) it's always a challenge to get the right balance when it comes to blacks, requires lots of fiddling around, which is something I don't miss which is why I said I could never go back to LCD
Obviously with OLED there is no such issue. :-)

Was investigating one of these at JL a few weeks ago. Colour, black level, brightness, viewing angle, anti glare, input lag are all fantastic. Motion handling was abysmal. Very surprised. Apparently, no frame insertion in LG OLEDs unlike most of the other OLED makers.

The original poster commented that "if you are looking for an OLED you've done your research already." Whilst OLEDs are generally fantastic, they're not created equal when it comes to near blacks and shadow detail. So it's always worth do a bit of research before investing.

Bit of a gamble but these OLEDs finally seem to be dropping so going to see if any blinding deals come up on Black Friday. The 20% off offer with Very seems to be the cheapest so far but buying from Very is a gamble in it's own right!

No need to add the specs, if you are looking for an OLED you've done your research already.
Currys offers 5 Years Warranty + free delivery as usual with this TV. LG offers 6 months 4K subscription on Netflix.
