I bought this tv from reliant and they phoned up and said it was out of stock. They then offered me the B7 for £1699 , i said no thanks. Then they went and talked to the manager and offered me the B7 for £1599! Which I bought and am very happy with of course.

Sorry I meant to add that I've seen some damning reports and phones about burn in with lg oled. I was all set to get the 65inch b7 until I read about screen burn. Samsung offer a 10 year warranty for screen burn on some tv. Lg don't offer the same deal. John Lewis warranty doesn't cover screen burn damage.

Sure you were. Was that just after you cancelled your Ferrari order because you read they go through lots of tyres?

Not everyone is a liar boyo. Your analogy is ludicrous. It's obvious that the LG oled have incipient faults. Have you got one? Then again you think everyone is a liar. How pathetic.

What are reliant like to deal with? They have some excellent deals but I've read some pretty damning reviews of their service

This would've been a deal a few months back. Not so much now. The new ones have better from black performance, less onscreen noise/blocking and colour gradation issues - very noticeable in i.e. Game of Thrones etc. - and are brighter, so better HDR performance.

I have a similar dilemma. C6v for 1500 or b7 for for less than 1700. I see 200 as not much more for the newer version but then think 1700 is a bit steep. Also would love 3d still. :-/

This TV is amazing and, imo, has a much better looking stand than the new models. Not sure what features the '17 model have over this?
I paid close to this, but got a free 4K player with mine, a few months ago.

I can't find it on the JL site today. I was looking at it yesterday, but it appears to have gone :disappointed: Edit - Found the link in my history, but it's out of stock johnlewis.com/lg-…396

Not sure I'd describe it as being "much" better - it's marginally better but definitely agree you'd be better off going for the B7 at this point given the price difference.
