No. Price shown is "price is to your door" stated in EGC t&c and orders are usually sent to an intermediary in UK prior to forwarding to the buyer, so the intermediary may be the one covering (avoiding?) any non pre-paid import fees.

I took the plunge and ordered this exact phone back in July. Arrived within 6 days. Great phone although it has been cheaper

This phone went down in price to £305 on EGC. I know you cannot time travel but wouldn't pay £45 more for something which has cheap a month ago.

G6 seems ok so far, but remember the g4 was ok until LG pushed an update and killed a load with bootloops. I suppose if you want to pay 350 and risk eGlobal's questionable returns policy....
Yeah, noticed them too some weeks ago - complete scam, best to avoid anything that seems too-good-to-be-true.

EU version is a cut-down version of this - no dual-SIM, no quad-DAC & only 32Gb storage.

This version will probably have the locked bootloader, so no rooty fun. Currently only the US and EU versions are supported. I'd rather take the 32gb one from Wowcamera and use adoptable storage. I doubt my headphones are good enough to tell the difference when streaming from spotify the improvements a quad-dac offers.

Bought a phone from them and the seal on the box and the battery was broken so I assumed it had been powered up previously. It looked new so I turned it on and noticed a flaw on the screen which on investigating looked like a panel issue. I took a photo and opened an RMA 48 hours after receiving it. First they said they couldn't see a problem from the photo and asked if I wanted to return it as unwanted. I replied that it was faulty and had been used so I wanted to return it on that basis. Then they said that according to their engineer the mark is caused by external impact/damage and that their warranty does not cover any issue caused by mishandling.
Funny how initially they can see no issue from the photo and then their 'engineer' can diagnose accurately from the same photo! It's very hard to capture screen issues with cameras so they would have to look at it in person. Anyway it was clear at this point that their reputation is warranted so I got my credit card company to sort it out for me.
The majority of people won't have a problem as most phones don't have an issue but if you don't like taking a risk then stay away from these cowboys.

Were you within your 14 days to cancel period? I wouldn't have even mentioned a fault if you were.
It sounds extreme but its really worth filming the opening of goods and examining them if you can, it protects you with right to cancel and faulty items, just make sure the video is time stamped.

I think that's really bad advice. If you return a faulty item and the retailer finds the fault and you hadn't mentioned it then it looks really suspicious and I wouldn't blame them for blaming you for the fault. In this case the fault isn't due to physical damage but a manufacturing flaw so I see nothing to be gained from not mentioning it as they can hardly blame me for a manufacturing flaw and get away with.
On top of that as it's a faulty item they will handle the return postage and also not try any restocking fee shenanigans. This is a highly dubious retailer judging from TrustPilot feedback so I followed common sense and let my card company sort it.

They did blame you for mishandling, and a manufacturing flaw wouldn't void your right to cancel either, at the very least you would have found yourself in the same situation.
In any case I'm glad you got it sorted which is all that counts.

They were absolutely useless when I used then last time. ordered a phone and had no communication for two weeks. Then took nearly another two weeks of daily emails to get them to cancel.

I bought mine from eglobal a few months ago for £392 so this is an excellent deal. This was my second purchase, I also bought my Galaxy Tab S 10.5 from them, and had no problems with either. They guarantee you won't get hit with a hefty vat payment as well. And therein lies the rub.
When you receive the goods, the seal on the box will have been broken. They say that they will include a charger for your region on the site so this will normally be an EU or US model charger with a UK adapter. Factory fitted screen protectors are also removed. And because the packaging has been opened and alterations made to the contents, they declare it as 2nd hand goods. If you don't mind eglobal interfering with your purchase in this way (I didn't) then it is a really good deal. If you don't, then buy elsewhere.

I think they must only open phones then as I bought an iPad from Eglobal on the 13th and it arrived yesterday, still shrink wrapped in perfect condition and with a UK adapter in the parcel also. This was my first eGlobal purchase and was nervous waiting for it to arrive as I didn't take the insurance they offer, but all went smoothly and so now wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I emailed them to ask if there could be any customs charges before I ordered and they were very responsive. The email said that they have a special arrangement for importing goods and it arrives in the UK as a bulk shipment, therefore no risk of extra cost to me. They sounded very confident and in the end, it arrived by DPD without any extra customs charges to me. I would be interested if anyone on here has had to pay customs charges on top when buying from them though

The only way they could get around import charges to the individual customer would be to pay charges on an entire shipment. Remember, we are just talking about vat here, on both the item and delivery cost, there is no import duty payable on electronic devices. And if they ship items in bulk, I can't see how customs are going to miss it. The shipment manifest will list each item and its value. But they guarantee no import charges. As both of my orders had been opened before shipping, and the contents "tampered" with, declaring the goods as "used" or "second-hand" is the only way I reckon they can get around it.
As I say though, it doesn't annoy me at the prices they charge.

I had concerns about ordering from eGlobal and was torn between the G6 and the One Plus 5. Having bought a Open Plus 2 without any issues from Gearbest, I took the plunge and bought 2. Accept that some people have had issues but you have to balance that against the improve spec Quad Dac (for music lovers) dual sim and of course price. E global are great.

Usually on eBay shop are a little more expensive and you cannot use discount codes. Ebay protection is c***, at least for me, so it comes down to paypal....if you buy direct from them using paypal, you should be ok, at least if it never arrives or brake the first couple of months..
