Mine came today. A great phone, fast and feels premium. I like Leeco's EUI skin. I have a Letv X600 which I really liked, but was let down by weak wifi and GPS. The Le Pro3 is good in both departments. Like it so much more than my Samsung Note 3. Might be worth watching out for deals on the Le Pro3 X727 64GB RAM, NFC and Snapdragon 821.

thanks for info looks like all banggood deliveries through Swiss post are getting picked up by customs. There is another recent deal post on here for a xiaomi phone from banggood, and a lot of them got caught by customs, Swiss post again and again £11 which included £8 royal mail charge so £3ish vat. Must all have the same value declared obviously not the full value or would be a lot more still nice to know.

They changed because of prices in my opinion. Secondly all packages have Chinese address and customs can easily know from where the package is coming. Obviously not so many foreigners in China.

You'd pay double this for a Xiaomi with this CPU. And the SD821 versions of this phone have lots of Android 7.1.2 custom roms...
True, this is madness. But it comes with an adapter you just keep on the end of your headphones. The sound is reported to be excellent though, especially with usb earphones.

actually I like USB headphones even I use them on my pc. USB headphone dont get broken up like 3.5mm ones. But what I find hard a difficult to accept is that you cant charge and listen to music at the same time. Apple also removed their headphone jack but still provided an adapter for simultaneously charging and listening music , for Android I didnt found such adaptor.
Came via Swiss Post and Royal Mail. Total charge £11.42 including £8 post office handling fee. First time I've ever been hit by duty. The pain is not the charge, but the delayed delivery and absence of tracking while they are assessing the item.

I wonder if something has changed with customs control recently or if Banggood has changed something with how they send items. Multiple people on a Banggood Mi5s thread recently reported the same cost and one person mentioned it being marked at around $20
Maybe it will end up being those leaks< you posted a while back which we've previously discussed :stuck_out_tongue:

Months ago this was also spotted on the same site: gizmochina.com/201…sor/ I think it was speculated as Mi6c. It looks similar to the recent Mi Note 3 except smaller but it remains to be seen so it will be a while before knowing if anything comes of that recent appearance. There's always speculation due to things like this, which don't always materialise into an actual release. Even the Mi7 is already being speculated: gsmarena.com/xia…php
There's this though, which appears to be more substantial evidence of an upcoming release gsmarena.com/xia…php It looks like it will be the Redmi 5A.

I was reading good things about LeTV/LeEco till quite recently - did someone say they were going out of business (?) or something?? Think Xiaomi are still the brand to beat, really.
Found the comment, here: hotukdeals.com/com…567 (edited a little for relevancy, but this thread was about the LeTV Leeco Le S3 X622)
Joe90_guy11th Sep I
posted this phone up last month when it was £90.44 from AliExpress. I
thought it was a bargain phone then (even though the deal went icy
cold!). At £79.99 this is a great deal.
Given that LeEco (or LeTV
as they were originally called) are teetering on the brink of
bankruptcy, I'd assume there will be ZERO updates for this phone. Also,
given that it's a Mediatek CPU, there may not be any custom ROMs to
flash the phone with. However this phone has been around for a while now
and I suspect a lot of the initial bugs have now been sorted. As
regards spy-ware; well if the Chinese want to spy on my boring life, let
them! They'll die of boredom before they find anything worth stealing.
It's
very likely these very obvious price cuts are a means to dump stock.
They may go cheaper still but I for one am very tempted to get this
phone before stocks finally run out.

Oh joy! I am being quoted on HUKD!!
A lot of what I wrote previously was supposition but yes, LeEco ARE in trouble. They expanded way too fast, especially in the US, then had to beat a hasty retreat and shut facilities down as their cash flow problems exacerbated.
However I was right in my prediction that prices of these phones would drop further. This variant, the X722, was on for £134 from Banggood just over three weeks ago and I thought that was cheap. At £125, this is approaching the price level of phones with a measly Mediatek 6750T! Regardless of Grumpy Sam's dire warning of viruses, this must be worth the risk for such little money.

I had good intentions, and I appreciate reading the knowledgeable comments on these threads  Is there that elusive Chinese phone with a stonking camera, fast processor, MicroSD slot and Band 20 that any nice HUKDer could recommend? There always seems to be a "catch" with China phones - or maybe I'm just a negative nancy :unamused:
The first "true" China phone I bought was for my sister's husband - the ZTE Nubia Z7 Max (did a Deal about it, as did other HUKDers before me). It's flashed with an English ROM but seems stable and takes good photos (same sensor, Sony IMX214 Exmor RS as the Motorola Moto G4, Xiaomi MI4, OppoFind 7 and Oneplus ONE), though no Band 20.

I fell for leeco as well but only learned hard way . Their prices are too good to be true. But the reason they are shutting down is spyware and bloatware in their phones. Maybe they got away with their bluff once . They could have been big like Xiaomi or Oneplus but they are evil so no business for them or their phones.

You had a bad experience with a spyware associated brand therefore they are evil and you'll condemn them on other people's threads but since you had no problems with another spyware associated brand (Umidigi) you'll post a deal for one of their phones and then ignore people pointing out their spyware/adware issues :joy:

I have another umidigi product with no spyware. If I knew , they were selling spyware I would not reccomend. I will find out soon when I get the phone and check it as it was on presale. You can reccomend rubbish because it is cheap. I cannot .
The funniest part of those deals is that you'll comment on other people's threads saying how it's better to get Qualcomm processor, even though those 4 are Mediatek. Feel free to link any proof where I have recommended rubbish to anyone because it was cheap.

I have nothing against Mediatek either. My own phone is Mediatek. I think Xiaomi are associated to people's perception of Mediatek. Xiaomi in the past have released updated Snapdragon variants of some of their original Mediatek phones (Note 3 & 4). The updated version is considered better which leads to Mediatek processor criticism. However I've never noticed any problems with mine, such a poor GPS etc.
I just pointed out Mediatek because sam_of_london has previously said it's better to get Snapdragon, which to me implies he considers Mediatek inferior, yet says he doesn't recommend rubbish for being cheap but has posted multiple deals which suggest otherwise.
