I quite like the idea of these - Available in Gold or Orange. Looking around this one seems decent with a 3200x1800 resolution, 8GB ram and a 256GB SSD. It's not the latest model, but I reckon it's a a bit of an all rounder for most things.
Recognizably different from the competition, the Yoga 900 is unbelievably thin and elegant. From the 360° watchband hinge to the eye catching color options, this 2-in-1 will turn heads. Packed with the latest Intel processing power and customizable features of Windows 10, your Yoga 900 will be your constant companion.

Windows 10 -Yuck, I do not want all my data sent to the USA so the NSA or anyone else can view it.

Yes of course that is what happens, ALL your data is sent to the USA, your files, photos, everything. You are far better off with google or apple.

I can forgive the exaggeration because Windows 10 does have a number of issues that more people should be concerned with. If claims like this leads people to take notice and check for themselves what data is and isn't slurped by Microsoft then that's a good thing.
That's completely aside from updates that change settings and setting toggle switches that are so buggy that they work back to front.

Spoke to Lenovo over phone, this model does not support any pen. Shame, could've been perfect

Feel this is a tad expensive really. It's well specced but no good for gaming, and in day to day use won't be noticeably better than something half the price. Not voting cold, as I think it's low for this particular model, but don't quite see the point of something pitched at this level, but that's just me.

You expected to get a decent gaming laptop from a 13"? 13" laptops generally are purchased portability and other purposes. Gaming isn't one of them.

It is a compromise, performance internals of a lower spec, but the screen is of a higher end machine.
If you want something for watching 4k video in excellent quality and portability then this is a great laptop.

I spoke to Lenovo on webchat and they said that the Lenovo active pen is compatible with this laptop. Online forum say what you have stated. The Lenovo site states the active pen works with the Miix 700 and 900s. So I'm a little confused now.

Good deal, I was looking at the 910 for £1200 last week but managed to pick up a Dell XPS 2 in 1 for £840 at the weekend. Would probably have bought this instead if it was available at the time.

Good enough Laptop but I just got rid of the i7 version as I couldn't get on with the keyboard layout. I would recommend going to try one out somewhere before buying as even after 6 months I kept hitting he wrong keys.

Did you buy from Lenovo, as they say you can try and return within 14 days if you don't like, or is this bull?

I got mine from pcworld for £1099 in July '16. To be honest I just stopped using it as it wasn't a fun experience and it sat unused for months as I picked up a lower powered but much nicer to use surface pro 4 in the AO deal posted on here. I just got round to selling it and got £700 for it.

In addition to the 4% discount code, quidco is tracking at £16.80. So if quidco pays up, at £655.19 is a very decent price

You cannot upgrade the Ram on this machine. You're stuck with 8GB. Probably more than enough for most.

"The non-removable 66 Wh battery pack is larger in capacity compared to many of its 13-inch competitors. Nonetheless, battery life is not any better at under 7 hours of constant WLAN use at 150 nit brightness (setting 75/100). At worst, users will get 2 hours of use on maximum display brightness and CPU usage. Compared to the Yoga 3 Pro, battery life is roughly an hour longer under our WLAN conditions. Lenovo promises up to 9 hours of video playback on a brightness setting of 200 nits and with WiFi disabled. "
