Just picked up two in Northampton. They have 6 in stock atm. I had to buy a £1 pack of stickers to get the extra £10 off but worth it. Cant say its a bargain but less of a rip off than normal! Lego is SO expensive

As stated in the original post, Smyths will take £20 off at checkout.
Smyths have a promotion at the moment (ends on Monday) where they will take £10 off £50 spend and £20 off £100 spend.
It is interesting to see that £99.99 still gets the £20 reduction - I would otherwise have assumed that I would need to buy something for 1p so that my total spend was indeed £100 so that I was granted the discount.

Is this a good investment? Will I be able to buy a new house in 2 years time?

The Lego Simpson's house maybe. Oh wait, I wasn't taking into consideration the increase in value of that set due to it being a good investment! Dont worry though, the Tories will see you right!
