These have been reduced pretty much everywhere today to £89-89.99
Argos, Amazon, Currys, John Lewis, Tesco etc
Tesco have £10 off anything over £75 at the moment with free to store delivery for this, so £79 using code TDX-YGHR available to everyone
Amazon £89.99, but if you have an NUS card and haven't used it already you can get £10 from the NUS website so £79.99

I really like mine, was a bit skeptical as had an iPAD but the battery life, portability and easy reading makes this a gadget worth having if you're into reading. Just wish the menu layout was a bit better.

thanks for the comments, can I ask if the extra £30 is worth paying over the basic £59 one?

Yes. The cheap one doesn't have the adjustable lighting which is essential in my opinion. I've had both and the paperwhite wins hands down.

thank you, thats what I was thinking, and even though I had £30 extra in my head, its only £20 more at tesco so should imagine its well worth that much  thanks

It's really worth it, you're welcome and enjoy. Don't forget to use the calibre software, it's free and the best there is to sort out your books, if you don't know about it, PM me, I'll help.

John Lewis will price match with Tesco. I rang to cancel my order after I saw the Tesco deal and they just knocked £10 off my order.

You should be able to contact customer services and get the special offers removed for free. At least you used to be able to, worth a shot anyway.

I bought one of these from a deal chanchi posted from a Tesco direct miss price which they honoured for once at £39.00 a couple of years ago! Fantastic device I wouldn't be without mine now

If I joined Amazon's audio membership does it mean that I can listen my kindle books when I am driving?

Audible is different from kindle books You need to buy a audible book to listen to it even if you already bought the kindle book

Any recommendations for a decent black case, something ,minimal, not too bulky?
I had my eye on this one when it was £6.99 but then it kept increasing in price to £12.99 (currently £10.99):
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the only case worth getting for there is the official one. Had a couple of cheap ones but something always went wrong. Magnets fell out, cover started to split, wake function stopped. Bought the official one and never had a problem. Still looks as new as the day I bought it.

I think the official cover is this one at £24.99, or the leather version for £29.99. I can personally vouch for this cheaper alternative at £12.99, but it looks like they only have a blue version left (mine was black).
