I don't see why not as long as you go steady and don't suck up too much at once to block it. After all its a wet and dry vac. That is the main use for this kind of machine.

On my second one of these, they're really good for cars and garages, stuff that you don't want to use a posh vacuum cleaner on. Carpets not so good, but acceptable.
I bought my first one from B&Q for £35 - I broke that one so bought another from Karcher Outlet for around £30 delivered I think it was. You can get them cheaper than the OP, but they're worth anything up to £50 all day I'd say!

My plumber used this model (with the help of gaffer tape to create a seal) on my shower drain to clear it, I think this is a decent price for this type of job at a minimum
