Fantastic smart watch for android and iOS at a fantastic price. With black leather strap but interchangeable with silver strap. It was at a similar price almost a year ago. I have this watch and l love it. I swapped in the silver strap and it looks like a classy Gentlemen's watch.
I personally think it looks better than version 2 as it has a bigger display and with smaller bezel compared to Huawei Watch 2.

Just a tip for anyone, I ordered a 'very good' condition one from Amazon Warehouse last week for £133. The box came unopened with plastic wrapping still round it. As for the watch, I had a play with it and to be honest decided to keep the Gear S2 I ordered at the same time. Totally down to personal preference but I preferred the rotating bezel and wireless charging of the S2 and Android Wear for me felt a little messy. It is a lovely looking watch though albeit for me the strap feels a bit too cheap.

This will be reduced on black Friday guaranteed as it was this price or lower last year. If you want this watch just wait that's what I'm going to do as I suspect we may see £130 and the newer one under £200.

Another one that waits forever. I guess the next black friday you'll say it will be cheaper the next one. Get fed up with all you ditherers. Everyone would go bust with "the always tomorrow gang".

I honestly think that it's not guaranteed anymore, memory cards/storage has increased in the prices that they were a year or so ago, due to Brexit and the exchange rate.

amazon.it has new W2 for £195 with EUR-GBP exchange rate. Probably £200 with delivery on a prime trial? Ordered a large product from amazon.de on prime trial the other day, was about £5 delivery.

Trust me it's from Amazon. It's from the EU listing of this watch (full price: £300) only difference is the EU charger but it's USB anyway. The 20% off warehouse products worked with it as well as the extra 20% off for students.

Really impressed with this watch. Came from an Apple watch and wasn't expecting much with this being half the price. Occasionally it's a little slow but overall I think I prefer it. Looks great as well. Paid 149 a few months ago.

Had it but to be honest android wear is the weakest of the bunch. Gear s3 running Tizen is so much better. Hopefully android wear will catch up with apple and Samsung and I will go back to android wear.

I have had this watch since christmas and the price then was £180.
Try the KSANA watch face , its the best ive come across. As for the watch itself with android 2.0 its much better .Although the speaker is very low so cant be used past about 20mph in the car. It also handled 1hr of me attempting to swim on holiday. So the robustness is there also.

Such a shame Huawei haven't come up with a new version of this. If only this version had NFC it would be perfect!
I don't think the newer version even has the sapphire screen that this one does, along with being uglier.
Also a shame that Google are developing Android Wear so slowly. It feels like they only have two engineers developing for it!

Yes, concur with those above - I've had mine for about a year (milanese loop band, lovely!) and I still love it, albeit with a couple of caveats, namely - 1) the charger is an absolute turd, I want to slap whoever designed it every evening when I put it on charge... and 2) I feel like in many ways the Android Wear 2 update had more negatives than positives... but even with those, it's still excellent. Put it this way, if I broke my W1 today, I would just order another one, despite all the newer options out there.

I bought one on the last Black Friday deal, but returned it soon after. Charging cable is poor and I couldn't get used to Android Wear. I probably needed to spend more time learning it, but I was forever swiping in every direction trying to work out how to close the notifications and get back to the home screen.

Facer. Nothing like having a geeky Chuck/Dexter/Hannibal watchface
Although for me it's mainly because I wear headphones in work and so would miss phone calls otherwise.
Also... if your phone is connected to the car via bluetooth, when you're driving tap the watchface twice and say "ok google, navigate..." or "ok google, phone ...". No eyesight needed

Wireless charging and water resistance are not related. Furthermore, the charger that comes in the box is not a wireless charger, it uses pogo pins.
It also sucks, but it's the only major issue with the watch, in my opinion, assuming you don't mind charging every night.
It has needed charging daily for me.
