Mine still says "Order in Progress", or did on Wednesday and no refund automatically issued. My earlier Argos order for a machine is due to be delivered next Saturday as never cancelled that just in case. Think I am going to have to call Currys and chase it just to find out now. If they say stock will be coming in to fulfil the order, I'll have to cancel the Argos one, but a bit risky without this being shipped. If stock will not come I will kick off about the fact they have kept my order open for so long "In Progress".

I just called them and they said they have no new date, but would give me 10% off for the delay :smile: . I asked to at least confirm that stock will eventually be coming and they said that if no new stock was coming I would get an email and the order would be cancelled (I got the email but never told the rep that I got it). He said as the order was still open he expects stock will be coming but cannot say when. It looks like there is no more stock as the email said but they haven't auto-cancelled my order still now, which bugs me. Might try a different customer service rep tomorrow and see what they say.

So.... having got the generic email about cancelling my order I was proper hacked off!! The following morning I received a text saying it would be delivered Saturday (today) I was confused so I called them and was told I would receive my order and must have received the email by mistake. To be honest I wasn't holding out much hope but I kept an eye on the track it page and it said it was on the way and low and behold with 15 mins left out of a 4 hour delivery slot and they have just turned up and my husband is plumbing it in as we speak. Thanks so much op as I'm well chuffed at the price. Also to anyone who got the email it maybe worth you giving them a call and find out what's going on? Good luck everyone. Stacey. X

I don't think I got an option at checkout. It just said 2-4 weeks I think and have not had a call or anything to book it. First time I tried it wouldn't let me check out and seemed expired, then someone else reported they could checkout so I tried again and it went through.

I had the cancellation email, and have not had an automatic refund (I have not called them to cancel either) or a call or anything to confirm delivery. However logging into my account I can see the order is still 'confirmed' and status of tracking says the following:
"Order in progress
First, a big thanks for your order.
We've received your order – and as soon your item is back in stock, we'll be in touch to arrange a delivery time to suit you"
As before, I am not going to cancel any time soon. I will wait and see what happens, and follow reports here of other deliveries.

Bit disgusted that we have to contact to get our refunds...surely the onus is on Currys to refund as soon as they cancel. If they wanted to offer a discount code they could just have generated individual ones to avoid mass use.

I ordered the Bosch and Hoover both yesterday but couldn't decide which one to keep or cancel. Called the support team this Morning and was told the Hoover machines were out of stock, hovever they refunded me £30 for the Bosch machine. I'm quite happy with that as I was quite sceptical about the Hoover brand anyway.

I didnt order the Bosch one but am in the same position its a really good price but from the reviews Hoover's electrics seem dodgy and this is a smart washing machine (which i cant benefit from as its only for android) so that seems like even more chances to break while no benefit... so I am thinking the Bosch deal but wondered other peoples thoughts?
