Is this one of those lower powered ones that the imbeciles in europe wanted us to have?

Those silly imbeciles trying to save the planet, damn them

By making folks use lower powered devices that then have to be used for twice as long?
Every output from Brussels always comes up against the 'Law of Unintended Consequences'!
Not to mention the volume of hot air they produce.

Between the pollution in india, china, the utter disregard for the environment in the middle east, korea and other countries, it is truly hoovers being underpowered that will save the world.
Has this "stop a hurricaine by farting into it" mentality always worked for you?

Every little helps, almost every household in in the Europe has a hoover, add them all up and it has a huge impact

I could say my comment must have killed your family but that would be replying in stupidity to your stupid comment.

Agree, who started stupid comments is another story.
Can also think for a second or two, that actually the companies making vacuum cleaners, among many others, have not improved anything in terms of energy efficiency for ages, simply because noone expected them to, and that imbacile regulation actually could have a lot more possitives than negatives.

The newer lower power consumption model has more suction than the older version, so don't get hung up on wattage.

I used to work for a £2billion turnover FTSE 100 testing company which proved this scientifically, but I guess you are better qualified and know otherwise?

See the video posted above. Maybe your £2billion company is overvalued.

My old 1,200w version is still going strong, so I'll stick with this and not the neutered 620w version.

We have one of these. Good vacuum but if you have thick carpet you will probably want to buy the turbo brush head. The normal head is rubbish at picking hairs out of carpet.
