Just tell them you paid for the groupon deal, they will tell you what you can order, you pay nothing unless you add anything extra, i always just show the purchase in the app.

Yup. I use one voucher in my name for 2 people, hubby uses one voucher in his name for 2 people. All 4 people fed. We mention it to the staff when they set up the table on the till so they know it's 2 separate bills.

Agreed, the comments on the app asks that it shouldn’t be printed to save the environment however the voucher suggests that it should be printed and shown. The image on the app should be enough.
