Less than 1 week later/after that initial OP Deal Posting of theirs, at the significantly cheaper price (as it stood at the time), it's now a whole £20 MORE expensive! (making it more than a 50% increase!).
It's a much bigger £57+ now. :-(

Good buy, much better than the 905 one yesterday. Personally I have two 912 boxes and they are great, stable and fast. I would not buy anything else at the moment. You get what you pay for.

Depends on your interpretation really?.
The S905X Chipset has always been widely mentioned on HUKD as being one that could ALWAYS support 4k x 2k at 60fps?.
Whereas the ironically NEWER S912 Chipset was rather widely known on HUKD at the time as supporting 4k x 2k and at ONLY 30fps Instead?.
Hence me too also avoiding the S912's like the plague myself ...
The 'game' may have changed now?, but I based my own thing according to how it stood some 2-3+ month's back myself?. :-)

which option did you use i used Airparcel Register 7-20 days not wanting to use Priority Direct Mail 7-12 days incase it turned out to be dhl mine hit heathrow on the 17th

Not sure. I wemt with the free option which had the longest lead time. I was surprised they sent it airmail as it wasn't my preferred route. The item them arrived to my door by Royal Mail. You should get the box any day

If you access Google Play Store via your Box, then yep! (I've personally seen some on my Android Phone).
But if your referring mainly to the KODI bit alone, then I have no idea? (as I've never tinkered with that end of it as such, to know any different ... )

Meaning it supports BEYOND 'HD Sound', AND BEYOND 'HD Picture' also ...

Failed to work for me. The external display is blocked at the very last stage of connection. Sky Go only works on devices with an attached screen such as tabs and phones.

The remotes on these android boxes are infrared and not designed like normal remotes with play stop buttons.

Kodi hasn't "gone down hill!". It's a shame that it's people who give it bad press from the piracy focused adding and plugins. Kodi is still up there as one of the best pieces of media centre softwares.
Just because your add ons for illegally streaming copyrighted and pirated content have been inevitably shut down, it does not mean that Kodi is at all rubbish now.
These boxes are still decent just for using Kodi for streaming locally.
Would it really matter THAT much?
Personally, the M8S Pro Plus would get my vote, note the PLUS at the end. The Plus AFAIK is one of the very few that support Widevine Level 1.

yep, you're right, kodi's great - I use the plex add-on. the usual addons are not working, so these'll get probably get cheaper as time goes on. tbh the price of these shot up in the recent past so it'll be good to see it coming back down.

Although its a great streaming software, it would seem the majority of demand for these boxes has always been for kodi and the illegal addons. And if you believe the rumours that people using them are being caught arrested/fined etc then im sure the prices will continue to fall.

I bought this box a few weeks ago due to the fact it has more gb of ram....thinking it would be faster etc. However its junk compared to my older boxes. I have three different models all with different specs. Its laggy buggy as hell with kodi awful clicky remote. Is there anyway I can make this box more stable?

Dont install Super SU on this as it updates the su modules in system and results in an unbootable device a factory reset doesnt fix it
The latest firmware on the internet is 2017/08/09 so i had to flash that (which fixed it ofc) Im trying to get a copy of 2017/08/11from banggood

Received mine a few days back, set it up works a treat but hardwired I'm only getting 10mb download speeds on a Speedtest. Worked with wireless before but didn't test it on speed. Same lan cable plugged into PS4 got 101mb speed? Anyone know what could be up??
