Don't forget your inhaler if you go to the one in Matlock.....it can be hard work on those hills.

Was there last week at Matlock, a good day out but the place hasn't been modernised, it's like going back to the 80's. Could do with some serious investment. I paid the £19.95 on the door but £12.50 is about what I'd pay to go again.

Theme parks on weekends is like water and oil, for me.

MK one is great for 6 years plus, a bit restrictive for younger ones and the more adventurous 12 year olds may find it a bit bland. But for the money, even full price, still pretty good value.

The parks are a bit tired nowadays but my girls (6&8) love it there, been to MK loads (local one) and stayed at Matlock in the new pirate themed rooms with clubcard points earlier in the summer which was excellent. We rarely pay full price, they usually have 3 or 4 offers on over the season & you can sometimes buy cheap return tickets in the park
