This has gone down to £99.99, I read one of the reviews stating that they received a 32gb version so ordered. I can confirm that I also received a 32gb version that looked brand new. Well happy, great deal.

In desktop stands we have one on the landing and one in the kitchen. Awesome screen and stereo speakers make this a great media / controller / data display device. We use ours for all sorts including plex, traffic/weather/trains widgets and sonos/hue controlling.

There was not too long ago an M2 2gb 16gb at Tesco's £159, it was a deal on here. so maybe if you wait one will pop up also a lot of people so I read are returning the M3 because they've been advertised as able to take a sim but then found it's just WIFI so maybe some cheaper returned ones somewhere. all the best hope you find what your looking for.

tempted, but for all those saying this is too old, any other suggestions for a higher than 1080p screen, 10" tablet at a similar price?

Do some research because a lot of the newer so called upgrades are not better with lower screen resolution ect

i've been looking for a new tablet, and the only one I like the look of was the M2 or M3, but I'm on a bit of a budget for this and was hoping there would be something between the absolute dross of a £40 windows 10 tablet and the premium hundreds of pounds ones. the tablet market has split over the last few years and the resolution on a lot of the cheaper ones is really bad.
Cheers for the comments, will give this a try. It's the reoslution that sells it to me,

Still using mine, with Pure Nexus ROM - see earlier XDA link. Works great with Nougat including latest security patches.

I also had one of these, sold it years ago. If it was the 32GB then possibly worth thinking about but with no microsd slot the 16GB version will have precious spare space left for data and/or apps after a while. Mind you, there's not much danger of being overwhelmed by android updates, i think the final one was 5.1 lollipop released a couple of years ago. On the positive side it was always a great screen and the forward firing stereo speakers were well above average as well. Although ahead of the game at launch, the hardware on some of these refurbs must be so old they will soon be ready to collect their pensions so i hope the vaguely worded 12 months guarantee is a good one.

I have had two of these over the years. One common issue is that it charges really slowly, like 12-20 hours full charge using a 2.1 amp charger. I had the slow charging issue on both tablets, even though it was intermittent.
Screen quality and brightness are awesome.
You would be better off buying something with better spec for a bit more cash.
Also, just remembered the graphics for gaming are not to great on this either.

These can suffer from screen rot, where it develops a yellow hue, either in patches or as in my Dad's case, over the entire screen. Something to watch out for.

It's a great tablet for movies: wide screen and two front-facing speakers. I had one until the screen colour went all weird and the battery died. I must have used it for many hundreds of hours. Got my money's worth. Only 16gb is a pain unless you stream media.
Moved on to a Samsung Tab S 10.1. Similar wide screen and stereo speakers for my movies. Just don't like the screen ratio of most tablets out now. I always use them in landscape mode so it suits.

It's old but I still think it has it's place at this price as 10" tablets for this kind of price are rare full stop and this has a very high resolution screen making it ideal for image heavy books and comics and the like that you wouldn't want to read on a kindle, probably still fine for less demanding games and general web browsing and media too. I'd say it's a hot deal in spite of it's age....

It's 110 quid - the screen resolution still outshines any (non Pro) iPad and for the money the right person will still find there is life in it. This review from last year still thinks it's a viable option even now and at this price doubly so. expertreviews.co.uk/tab…0/1
