Any idea how can I transfer game save data from a Samsung phone to this one? I tried using Helium but the desktop client is not recognizing the Redmi 4X phone. Do I need to install any drivers on my Windows machine? I have already backed up the app data from the Samsung phone using Helium. Both phones are not rooted.

Got this for £92 from a reputable AliExpress seller a couple of weeks ago for my wife as she didn't want a 5.5" screen. The colour is actually very nice - looks far better than I imagined. It's a "dull" gold so doesn't look tacky. I'm not a huge fan of MIUI but it is nice and smooth and has some decent features. Unlocked and now have LOS14.1 on there. Really nice, no issues and an OS I like for well under £100.

What's with AliExpress NOT being able to Deliver this Phone to the UK, from France, from round the corner? (baring in mind, we're STILL currently in the EU too).
But it's able to Deliver this Phone allllll the way to UK, from a much further China Instead! (baring in mind that from China to UK is more expensive!, than it would be from France to UK instead?)

No, my friend, I did not. Aliexpress don't sell anything, they are a marketplace. The seller in this case is MiRetail store, who are a Xiaomi reseller. I said they are reputable, as they have good feedback and other people have commented on other threads that they have sent goods quickly, and securely packed, and responded to messages in a timely manner. Again, xiaomi themselves do not sell on Aliexpress but there are a few sellers, like this one, who seem to be named to give the impression that you are buying directly from the manufacturer, but you're not.

Can I add "usually" before the word ship; normally you are correct from the top rated sellers, but some are still not sending orders out for up to 2 weeks after they have been placed. The best sellers get most orders to you within 10-14 days, even cheap stuff like ink carts and a box of MicroSD card readers costing 24p each; at the other end of the scale - my worst experience was a delay of nearly 4 months (I cancelled and got a refund after it missed its third delivery date, more than 2 months after supposedly being posted) . When it finally arrived, the Chinese postal date stamp was dated six weeks after the original estimated delivery date..

If you want the Black version it's currently on offer at GearBest for £105, cheapest I could find. This is the Global Version with Band 20 as well.
Their link is a multiple options listing. Just choose the "Redmi 4X" option and not the "Redmi Note 4X" options. If you look at the description, the 2nd image shows 3 screen protectors for different Redmi phones. The white one on the right shows the Redmi 4X. Notice there's a hole beneath the home button? This is where the notification LED is on the Redmi 4X. You'll still see the original white fascia through that hole. Depending on how exact the cutouts are, you might also still see white around the camera, earpiece etc (cutouts look quite big in that photo). Some might fit better. For example this listing< looks like it *might* cover it better.

Had mine a month and it is great. Had to pay standard vat when it came through DHL and their standard £11 charge. They text you asking you to pay it when they get it to their first shipping depot. I only buy tech like this from Gearbest.
If you don't want anything amazing get this phone. The camera is not that great though. I got this as I broke my Samsung S6 and the camera is no where near as good as the S6. This is just a temporary phone till I can get a new contract.
With the battery I have managed 42 hours with not needing to be charged.

The note 4 is quite a bit more powerful and had been down to £90, the only reason to get this is for the smaller screen, other than that it's an all round worse phone. Worse processor (chipset), worse battery, worse screen etc.
Is the Note 4 significantly better than this then?

Why?? To keep the phone safe you will put it in a case that hides 90% of the coloured part anyway. I bought the Rose Gold, as it was £10 cheaper last time the Note's were on offer; it looked fantastic and it is almost a pity to cover it up - except I drop it regularly !! You can also buy replacement backs in various colours for a couple of quid.

I want a 5.5" screen though and no matter what case I buy it wont increase the screen size so still going to hold out for the note 4 if that's okay ?? :wink: If I was to go down that route of covering the phone with a case to change its colour , it'd need to cover 100% of the colour to do its job correctly for me and being OCD it would be a real issue for me if the phone had 10% of its original colour still visible , lol ..... helpful for those who aren't that bothered though I guess.

Amazing phone, I only just got mine a few days ago. So there are a few omissions tech wise on this phone such as there being no NFC and no quick charge. But if a full 2 day battery life is your thing then this is the one!

I've got the honor 8 with it's stock "huawei" rom and it's not bad but i've never really loved it, it's GPS is so wonky it can be hilarious, except when you need it for Pokémon etc.
the Honor does have NFC and fast charging, the battery is pretty good but nothing to write home about. I feel I'd probably be able to get a full refund for mine which is why i'm thinking of getting rid in favour of a Xiaomi or an iPhone
from what I can see my Honor 8 is faster, has a higher res screen, has fast charging and NFC over the Xiaomi

I got mine a couple of weeks ago and can get 3 days of battery with moderate use. There is a setting so that you can turn it off (e.g. at 1am) and get it to switch on again at before the alarm goes off I reckon with this I might be able to get 4 days. An excellent phone which I initially dismissed due to the 720p screen, but I haven't really noticed any difference from my LG G2 (1080p). The only features which I could miss are lack of NFC and face detection to prevent the screen going blank.

I'm sure that Xiaomi, Huawei and Lenovo have an interesting feature where if you switch your phone off (lets says you don't want the alarm to go off) then the phone will think "hey I'm switched off, I'd better wake up and set this alarm off", Catches me out every time with a new device from these guys.

For the price there's not another phone out there that can touch it. Especially for battery life.
