Looks a great deal, heat added. Waiting on a good deal to pick up a 6GB version myself but this is decent!

Deserves heat. Don't be put off by the 3GB instead of 6GB. If you only have a 1080p monitor, it really makes no difference (expect price and a great bang for buck!)

It does though with certain games - even if you take the 10% lower shaders into account over the 6GB version, there are games which show over a 10% difference in framerates. I remember when Digital Foundry tested it last year,in Rise of the Tombraider there were certain situations when a GTX970 4GB was having better minimums, and the 6GB version was much faster than a GTX970 4GB. Sure for Blizzard games it won't really matter as they don't use too much VRAM,but for newer and newer games I don't think I would want to be stuck for a few years with only 3GB of VRAM.
In the end people don't keep a graphics card for a few months, they keep them for a few years,so I would rather spend the extra on the 6GB version and they are starting to drop down in price now,so its better to wait for a deal on one of them if you can although YMMV. I would also expect a better resale value for the 6GB version over the 3GB.
