nice find. just bought my 2nd one a few days ago .these are great and for the same price as unbranded rechargable from eBay which don't last long. 1 didn't recharge straight out the box the other lasted a month before the battery went flat . these are deffo worth the price had 1 for a year and still going strong. I thought the recent one I bought was faulty . turnes out u put the battery in the wrong way. haha .

fantastic price for an official battery pack. I use a third party generic gioteck one that came with my charging stand and it works absolutely fine touch wood, but I bet these ones hold a lot more charge...

Dumb question coming up...
Will this work with xbox 360 controllers?
EDIT: I'm not a gamer, thinking of buying a wireless controller for my nephews and this would come in handy if compatible..

No, 360 controllers have a different battery box so they wont fit. I've been using a some 3rd party Venom ones that are £9 for two with the USB charging lead from Asda, not quite as elegant as the MS play and charge kits bit still work well.

Thanks. Saw the venom ones on Amazon yesterday. I think the boys are now getting a PS4 anyway...

Just FYI, anyone needing this delivered in the north/north east of Scotland wont receive free delivery, its £9+ for delivery. Classed as Non-Mainland apparently
I managed to get the free delivery by having it sent to my work address just 40 miles away, still in the north east of Scotland

That's strange. I had exactly the same issue with my brand new one I got from Amazon. Thankfully they replaced it for another which worked as intended.
I didn't return the 'faulty' one in time so I was charged for it. Anyway, I sent it across to my brother and told him to just give me a tenner if it worked. It did work for him, thankfully. I was using the Xbox One S controller.
Have you tried all methods of charging?

I have a standard Xbox One controller. I bought a brand new play and charge kit from Argos today. Works straight out of the box and also charges fine with the charging cable I got from this deal. Tried the duff battery with the brand new cable and it still doesn't charge so it looks like it is faulty. I have contacted the seller to see what they propose to do about it.

Quick question guys, if you already have Eneloop rechargeable batteries
in your remote can you just use a micro USB lead connected to your Xbox
to recharge the batteries when they start to go flat or will that method
only work on this specific rechargeable pack?
My kids get
through so many Eneloop's solely for their Xbox One controllers so was
thinking this might be a good idea as it would mean they don't have to
keep swapping batteries and pausing their game if they could just whack a
USB cable into the back of the controller to resume their game etc.
Would
also save me time as I always seem to have 4 dead batteries left on my
desk that I then have to keep putting into the Eneloop mains etc.
Opening post
Bargain price in my opinion and I'm tempted to pick another up, just because.
