So this is not the cheapest Tenerife option accommodation wise as it is much cheaper to stay in the North of the Island but I know Playa de las Americas is popular and this is a great option for two people wanting some (pretty much guaranteed) Christmas sun 19-26 December with decent flight times too. This trip is based on two people, however the apartment should be a similar price.
I know I've posted a few Christmas deals such as Lapland, Tenerife etc but I know there are still lots of people looking for their Christmas break.

Not the best in my opinion and have been known to be used by 18s/30s say no more. Nothing wrong with youngsters enjoying themselves but when you have kids or older members with you its not much fun. The Los Chris beaches are a good 25min stroll away but the las Americas beaches are on your doorstep just ignore the timeshare touts just say no with some authority and they will leave you alone. Btw don't forget Ryanair new rules no longer the deals they used to be with their new policy of deliberately sitting people apart so now it forces you to book your seats if you want to make sure you sit together, and now holding a gun to your head to make you book priority boarding so as you can take on your cabin luggage otherwise it will be taken from you and placed in the hold. Kenny Jacobs is doing a fantastic job of ruining what was working fine in my opinion and his latest excuses for this is pure BS the man seriously thinks that customers are idiots. theguardian.com/bus…age

If looking for hotels in Playa de las Americas, I recommend the Bitacora Hotel, a decent 4 stars, all inclusive, perfect for both for couples and for families.

Was in summer , not in Xmas. Hotel cost me 1300 Euro for 2 adults + 2 kids, all inclusive, one week.

Great location.I've stayed in the Noelia Sur which is now the Tigotan and also the Columbus, amongst a few others. From the apartments it is best to head in the Los Cristianos direction rather than the Playa de las Americas direction. PDLA is littered with people trying to give you scratch cards to win a day out at a timeshare or at night, plenty of people trying to drag you into the bars on Veronicas strip. Beaches in the Los Cristianos direction are nicer too :smile:
