Very long waiting times. Their tactic is to wait several weeks before making them so they can spam you with countless cross-sell offers beforehand.

We've noticed you keep commenting on all our recent offers on this platform and as a result we felt the need to address it publicly.

well said, happy to wait for the price i paid but what about combining postage on two pairs instead of being forced to pay the postoffice two sets of delivery costs instead of one ? you could say charge £6.99 for two pair instead of £9.98.

Hi, I've had to change the PD on two of my orders so I've added a message with the correct PD to the order. Hope that's okay.

great, i am sure it would tempt people who only wanted to purchase one pair into buying two at the same time so more sales for you as well.

Received my Converse glasses today but it's faulty. On the right side near the hinge, the rubber Converse branding is missing.
Messaged Speckyfoureyes customer services (see below) and they are happy to offer free returns via collect plus but they confirmed they will only refund £10 and will not refund the £4.99 cost of postage.
We are sorry that there has been a issue with your order. Please return your glasses using our returns form speckyfoureyes.com/ret…orm
COLLECT+ (FREE) We offer Collect+ as a free service available to our UK customers. There are 6000+ drop off points in the UK to make your return as convenient as possible.
We can confirm a refund of your frame only will be processed and not your postage cost.

My order arrived last week..so that was less than two weeks to wait! Really happy with the purple converse glasses I got, they were great price and look great.

Just be aware, I ordered from their last sunglasses promo. After 28 working days, I sent them an email as to when they would be arriving as they hadn't even been sent out. They replied stating the 7 to 30 working day clause and then went on to say that my glasses would be ready and sent out the following week (at least 4 working days, 6 actual days)!!
When I eventually received them 40 working days later, the grey frames with black lenses that I'd ordered turn up as brown frames with brown lenses. When I emailed them about the problem, they wanted photos and then I had to send them back (for free) and then wait another two days (like I believed that) before my order would be sent out and then wait a couple of days to receive them (at least).
Sorry for the long post, but just be prepared for a looong wait. :innocent:

Wow!
Ordered 4 pairs of Converse £14.99 glasses on Friday (15th) and two pairs have shipped today (19th) !
That's probably faster than some High Street opticians.
anyone know if you can buy the frames then take them to your regular opticians to get fitted with lens ?

16 Sep 17#40
If you can buy the frames then sure - any optician will reglaze a frame - there is a fee though on top of the lense price.

thanks , I've done it with 'old frames' from the same shop (didn't charge extra) so was just wondering :)}

Well I have used them a couple of times now, yes you wait a while but what I have received is an excellent product at an excellent price. The last pair took about three weeks to arrive so if its not urgent give it a go, I got sweets too!

I got mine the next day IIRC, but they had my prescription already from a past order. Can't really fault them for the price, but one pair I had the left lens rotation was wrong. Sent them back and they reglazed them for me correct this time, wearing them now.

Purchased Two Pairs! 1 SuperDry & 1 Converse. Bought the Jetstar SuperDry in Red & Black last year and annoyingly lost them on the Tube the other day! :disappointed: & Yes they took 6 Weeks to arrive but for the price & The fact they were perfect first time prescriptionwise It was worth the wait for the cost. Heavily recommend them for Back up pairs. As people have mentioned above don't choose a lens package & they should contact you offering the Specky 2 Package for £9 which I'll be taking them up on for both pairs I've bought tonight. Hoping these arrive slightly quicker than last time as I did have to chase them a little admittedly.

plus you can not add 2 pairs to same post/purchase its £4.99 per pair which is not fairs fair.
about 5% tcb/quidco as well

It's fair. Of course we'd like to only pay 1 lot of P&P, but then this deal wouldn't exist

14 Sep 17#11
fair would be to add £2 on to the £4.99 thus charging £6.99 and not forcing you to pay two sets off £2.90 to the post office for no reason, they do not make a penny off that, they would not cost no more to post two pair combined as they are small and light and packaging would cost no more as well.

be prepared for your up to 6 week wait for them, but believe me they are worth the wait at this price, i was well pleased with mine for £10 pity the £4.99 post but think it cost them £2.90 plus the cost of packing etc so fairs fair.
